"Good third party deal however there was no reference to the construction going on ( be advised it will last 17 months as of 3/23/26)so for 500/Night getting woken up at 7 am by a drill sucked. The concierge did mention the construction work when we got there but this is after booking and paying for the room.The walls seem to be be fairly thin … our next door neighbors had a new born.. I understand having newborns ..but for 500/night the walls were as thin as a motel 6s! The room was clean and inviting the bathroom was very nice and modern. The view and location just across the Jolla cove is definitely what you are paying for. Parking is very hard to get and their valet parking does not accommodate big vehicles."

"We had an amazing stay at this charming, small hotel in La Jolla. The location is unbeatable—right across from the ocean with beautiful views, and just minutes from the Cove and everything San Diego has to offer. The property feels cozy and homely, almost like a studio apartment, and the room was spotless. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the after-hours check-in was seamless. We loved everything about this place and will definitely be coming back."

"Clean room and bathroom, AC worked great, great coffee/breakfast place next door and other shops/restaurants in walking distance. GREAT beach for surfer or sunset watching is a 4 minute walk down the hill. Pool and hot tub were clean and nice. Oh and they give you towels that you can take to the beach"

"They CANCELLED my rental WHILE TRAVELING although repeated correspondence with the Redwood Hollow Cottages associates that I was a mother traveling with her two young children needing and addressing safety and accessibility concerns. Accessibility was denied the first night due to the aforementioned and the time of night accessing an associate because our flight arrived late; hence, we were stranded the first night having to make spontaneous alternative accommodations while keeping my young childrens’ spirits up in an unfamiliar town. The replacement property lacked satisfaction fulfilling my top two concerns and caused my incredibly cherished vacation with my children to be completely jeopardized. I’m safely home now, yet you ruined memories and life that cannot be replaced; I hope you and your associates are proud of yourselves for the,“…work” you do…,”. I will be in touch soon Expedia; others beware please and thank you. "
