“The hot tub and pool area were really nice! The breakfast place was perfect and even open longer than the hours stated. The staff was friendly and helpful. You can walk to Putt putt and really good Mexican food.! You can walk to the DNR building and see fish and animals. You can walk to the beach at the campground. It’s right where the two lakes meet! Highly recommend!”

“This was a good value for the price. We cleaned up hair from the bathroom, hot tub, and floor. We bought cleaner to use the hot tub (whirl pool in room) and there was no hot water. We paid extra for whirlpool room so that was a bummer. Water was barely lukewarm. Ice machine wouldn’t work, pool is out of order. Rooms were really small, bed sheets felt gritty. The pluses were that it was in a great location, close to Houghton and Higgins Lakes, and we felt safe. If you just need a place to lay……

“Very average stay. Expectations were met with no frills. Room decor was dated and the bed was somewhat hard. We didn't encounter any issues. Complimentary breakfast was minimal.”

“New updates look nice since new ownership, but breakfast and morning care seems under par, the tvs are old and do not have apps you can sign into from home. The pool and new paint colors show dirt and oils much easier, and too much stuff floating in the pool. Bugs, hair, dirt, grass, and more. You can make things look prettier, but they were more well managed when the look was not that important.”

“I had a great stay here. The place was clean and comfortable, great location. I would definitely come back. My only complaint was that some people started fighting very loudly at 3am near my cabin and I didn’t know what to do, since there is no staff on site.”
