「Not far from the main road and surprisingly close to the town and ski resort, while at the property you feel entirely secluded and away from civilization. The main living and dining area is great for everyone to spend time together with a fire going while the bedrooms are tucked away for good privacy. The wrap around deck would be a great place to lounge in summer, and the fire pit would be similarly nice on summer and fall evenings.」

「Last minute trip to get away for some weekend fun. Weather was cold and rainy, and I spent an evening in the hospital after getting knocked out whitewater rafting. Not my idea of fun. However, the cabin, ambience, hospitality, and friendly community made this one of my favorites of all time. My bird dogs also had the time of their lives!!!」

「Had a great time with our family at this property. Beautiful Creeks to play and admire around the house. Kids had a great time playing games and enjoying campfires. House is well stocked and in a gorgeous location. Thanks so much for making our memorial Day weekend filled with break memories with our family.」

「Everything was as advertised. Very comfortable, clean, nice hot tub and outdoor area with fire pit and lots of wildlife. Only item would be the condition of neighboring homes as they were under various stages of renovation but we never saw or heard anyone around us, so was all good. 」

「The Treehouse is magical and so fun! Every touch was enchanting and our family especially loved searching for gnomes on the private hike around the property. We came through the area for 2 nights on our way to visit Washington DC. We hiked and explored Ohiopyle including a rafting trip and visiting Falling Waters. Loved our time! 」

「This property was overall good. It had an updated kitchen, a private hot tub and a new tub. Beds were comfy, TVs had plenty of entertainment and appliance overall cleanness was good. However the cleanliness of the home was hit and miss. Some areas were pretty spotless like the bathroom, while other areas like the pull out couch were full of crumbs. Also there were numerous dead bugs and spider webs in the home which was expected for being in the woods but disappointed it was that many. There was...

「A long weekend in the woods is my prescription for stress relief. The Whiskey Rock property is just right for a couple or small family group and the amenities are as described. Our weekend weather wasn't the best but it really didn't matter. Though we're Pennsylvania natives, neither of us had seen a ruffed grouse (state bird) in the wild until this stay. 」
