Riad très agréable

Logement très bien situé dans la médina. Riad spacieux, Chaque chambres est équipé de douche et w.c +1 autre indépendant. Très bon accueil d'Hamed, gentil, disponible et discret.

Un lieu et des hôtes charmants...

Un séjour très agréable en famille dans un Riad reposant et calme a 3 min de la place. Ahmed et sa femme sont des hôtes charmants. Leur gentillesse et leur discrétion ont fait que nous nous sentions comme à la maison. Ahmed nous a conseillés sur les visites et beaucoup appris sur la culture marocaine. Sa femme nous a régalés avec ses petits déjeuners copieux et ses plats délicieux. Nous espérons revenir bientôt.

Nous avons passé un séjour parfait avec nos amis ..du 5 au 10 mai..il n y a pas de mots pour exprimer notre grande satisfaction. Le raid était encore plus beau que sur les photos ..décoration à l image de Ahmad et son épouse..simple ..mais si chaleureuse...et typique. Merci mille fois pour leur accueil...Nous étions comme chez nous . Une discretion totale et toujours disponible pour nous .ces conseils pour nos excursions se sont reveles juste parfait ..Le couscous de soukaina ses petits déjeuner traditionnels chaque matin très copieux et succulents....surtout le melwoui et barrir. Nous les remercions très chaleureusement et nous comptons bien re séjourner chez eux en compagnie de nos enfants ...bravo et nous conseillons ce raid sans aucune hésitations... Mr et madame bregeat

Nous avons été très bien accueilli. C'était notre premier voyage à Marrakech. Ahmed et sa femme nous ont formidablement bien reçu. Les repas pris au riad étaient excellents et copieux. Ahmed nous a bien renseigné sur Marrakech et ses environs. Nous étions 5 et nous avons été enchantés. Nous recommandons vivement ce riad de part son accueil et sa situation géographique. Merci beaucoup à Ahmed et sa femme pour ce merveilleux séjour.

Almost Perfect

Our family of four had a nice 8-night stay at this riad, centrally located in the Medina. Ahmed was a friendly, smiling presence, who was always available for our questions. Each morning he prepared for us, at 9:00 (early for Moroccans), a large breakfast that included fresh-squeezed orange juice and strong coffee. Breakfast is heavy on bread and sweets, without eggs or cheese, however, so if you're picky it might not suit you. Moroccan mattresses seem to be very hard, which was fine for two of us, but the other two complained a bit. The cool evenings are handled by heaters in the main rooms. We loved the sunny terrace, and would have spent more time there if we weren't so busy doing other things. I really want to give this riad 5 stars, but one incident with Ahmed's business partner, Omar, slightly marred our experience. Omar was there to greet us when we arrived, and his fluent German made it easy for us to communicate, as Ahmed doesn't seem to speak much English. Omar quickly learned our names and used them, which made a nice first impression, and he offered to show us around the next day for a couple of hours if we wanted. We quickly accepted and he got us on foot at 11:00. The 2 hours, full of info and helpful advice, stretched to 3+, and by 2:30 we were tired and hungry. Although we passed several restaurants that looked appealing, Omar said he knew a place he could recommend. After several more minutes of walking, our daughter in particular was tired and starving, and stopped in front of a menu that she said looked good. Omar came over and said it was "too expensive" (without knowing anything about our budget), and when she said it seemed fine, he said the food wasn't "authentic." It was several more minutes before we reached the restaurant Omar took us to, where he was greeted by several of the staff, who clearly knew him. He then left us for our meal, which was fine. During lunch, my daughter noticed that another family was also steered to a table by their guide, who then left. It was obvious that Omar had something to gain from taking us there, which wouldn't have been so bad if our daughter hadn't been in obvious distress, which he chose to ignore. That left a bad feeling. Ironically, it was Omar who had told us, the previous evening, to "trust no one." For that reason, I can't give a perfect score to the experience, although the riad itself and Ahmed's solicitous presence were lovely.

Wonderful spot. Everything organized perfectly.

Ahmed and Omar started our family vacation off perfectly from arranging our transfers to places to eat and do and helping us with lost luggage. The accommodation was clean and lovely. A perfect stay for the whole family

The Medina is bursting with splendid riads but no one is as special as this one. First of all, it is conveniently located only 5 min away from all major sites and it's reachable by car which is a great thing if you are carrying tons of suitcases or a sleeping child. It is located in a peaceful back street, giving you the rest you need after a day in the noisy and busy Medina. It''s nicely furnished, super clean and plenty of light. Kitchen (with dishwasher) and washing machine are at your disposal, which is simply fantastic if you are travelling with young children, like we did. Then there is Ahmed... Ahmed will be there to make your stay simply unforgettable. From the moment you wake up, serving you the most delicious breakfast, until the end of the day, sharing with you all his knowledge about the city and the country. Do you wish to make a day trip to the Atlas Mountains or the sea? No stress, just ask Ahmed. He knows the most professional driver, who will pick you up and bring you safely to your destination and back. A good and cheap, family friendly restaurant? Ahmed knows them all. How to bargain in the souk? Ahmed will tell you how to get a good deal. We felt safe. Always. Travelling with children (our are 5, 8 and 10) can be stressing. It's not if you choose the right place to stay. And this is definetly the one!!! Thank you Ahmed for letting us stay in your wonderful house! Marta

Lovely, small riad, perfect for a family visit.

We hired the whole riad for 2 adults and 3 children aged 5, 5 and 6. It was spot on - lovely and clean, lots of space and perfectly hosted by Ahmed. Missing his huge breakfasts already.

Nous voilà de retour à TOURS après un séjour de sept jours au riad dar JDATI. Belle surprise à la découverte d'un petit riad typique, confortable au cœur de la médina. Trois chambres avec salle d'eau, toilettes chacune et une literie impeccable. Nous avons largement profité de la terrasse, des petits déjeuners somptueux, des petits oiseaux et de la vie des Marrackchis vraiment à notre porte. Mais l'âme de ce petit paradis c'est Ahmed. Pour l'accueil, la gentillesse, la disponibilité, la discrétion, les conseils en tout genre (ballades, courses, hammam) sans oublier le sourir et …..le thé à la menthe. Merci Ahmed tu as été très important pour nous cinq et tu nous manque déjà.
