Mi è piaciuto il cortile del Riad e non la camera in quanto la porta non si poteva chiudere dall'interno e non aveva finestre, il bagno aveva la doccia in mezzo al locale e senza protezioni pertanto si allagava tutto.

hidden secret

family of four with two young children 8 and 6, location was ideal, hotel and staff were great,2 palaces close by and the souks and main djema el fina also close by, everything within 15minute walk,i would go back there again,only little was price of meals at the hotel are expensive,besides that excellent,overall worth a visit,phillipe and his staff were great also very friendly and polite,their service and cleanliness of hotel is why i give them 9 out of 10,keep up the good work

Wonderful Hospitality

Well what can I say about Dar Alif that has not already been said. If you were like me and spent days (weeks my case), looking for the right place to stay, then stop now. This place is perfect and I am not a person to use that word lightly or a person who gives countless reviews, but this place made me. Isabelle and Phillipe are wonderful hosts and in all if my years travelling all over the world I have NEVER stayed in a place so welcoming. The same with Morroco too. The staff that Dar Alif have are the most polite, welcoming & humble staff I have met anywhere. They will go out of your way to help you and advise you on anything. A BIG thanks must go to Tariq, Khadija (wonderful cook), Dora and everyone else there. They are always there anytime you need them, but very discreet also. They spoke perfect English Arabic & French, which put me to shame & made me scramble to remember my high school French to reciporicate such was their ease in translation. The people make this place and Phillipe and Isabelle must thank their lucky stars that they have such great people working with them. And that is down to both of them (through hard work) making the Dar Alif one of the most successful (in my opinion) Riads in Marrakech. Whilst the hospitality is second to none, the surroundings and environment are beautiful and comfortable - the pictures don't do it justice. I know it has been said before, but it really is a home away from home.

Good Riad but too much touroperator sales approach

Dar Alif is a standard Riad with nice staff but we felt like treated like in a touroperator resort sales talk all the time trying to sell us extra trips, transfers, drivers at extremely high prices. Not a pleasant experience...

Lovely riad in the heart of Marrakech

We had a lovely and too short stay at Riad Dar Alif. It is a beautiful oasis within the hectic medina. Will have to come back for a longer visit!

Philip our host was attentive and helpful with all our requirements and help to make us feel relaxed and at home. The hotel is also very relaxing and we looked forward to spending time at the hotel - relaxing on the rooftop terrace or taking a Hammam in the spa - as much as we did the sightseeing in and around Marrakesh. I would recommend anyone travelling to Marrakesh to stay here for a very enjoyable experience.

My home in Marrakech

Choosing the right Riad in Marrakech can be difficult and time consuming. Based on the reviews, pictures and availability I was very lucky to pick Dar Alif. Spent five days over christmas there and it felt like home. From arrival to departure the service, atmosphere and attention I got from staff the owners could have not been better. Phillip warmly welcomed me with mint tea and pastry giving many good tips on Marrakech. He took me to short walk showing 'secret' passage and shortest routes to the square and other places of interest. Breakfast at Dar Dalif was very good. Served at the roof terrace I could watch sunrise over Marrakech while enjoying my coffee, egg's of your choice, bread, pancakes, jam etc. I spent good time on the terrace during the days reading book, drinking mint tea and enjoying sun. They also serve beer and wine to terrace on your request. My room was very nice and ultra clean. My big bathroom was very special with big shower and enough warm water. There was also electrical outlets next to my bed which is very good for charging and using your phone/pad when in bed. My stay could have not been better in Marrakech thanks to Dar Alif and nice people working there. I highly recommend this place if you like exceptional personal service and beautiful Riad in the heart of Marrakech. thank you Philip Isabell for nice days I had opportunity to be your quest.
