“Excellent stay overall. The rooms are beautiful, well designed, spacious and very comfortable. What truly made the experience stand out was the hotel team — every department was warm, welcoming, attentive and genuinely helpful throughout the stay. Special mention to the staff at the pool, who were absolutely amazing and made the experience even more relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended and would definitely return in the future.”

If you like calm and luxury, this is the place for you. “It has the potential to be very good. The property size is very good and the gardens are all private and not over looked. The issue is it needs a lot of refurbishment. Nothing totally fundamental but to give you a theme we had a 3 bed villa. None of the doors properly close so you get bugs coming in at night you’re not careful. The air con leakes when you have it on for more than 5 mins. The outside tables wobble so much if you put a coffee on them it wins be there for long. The kitchen tap was……

“Where we stayed at the Oasis Camp was lovely. Clearly it was a newer addition to the Barcelo Resort and it was beautifully appointed and quiet. At night they would light a fire in the center of all the "tents" which made for a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, the rest of the Barcelo resort has gone somewhat to seed. It was clearly in it's heyday 20 years ago or so and not much has been done to improve on it since. There were multiple amenities (volleyball, tennis, lake) that weren't well……
