I was excited when I first entered the property. Down an alleyway, close to the main square. Great location. And the Riad design is very attractive when you first go in. From then it kind of slid downhill. Our room, on the second floor, I am pretty certain that this was formerly an office. No windows to the outside. It was an odd shape. Bed frame was put into the space and you practically have to parkour the bed to ge to the other side of the room. The corner of the bed is 4 inches from the wall. The lamp on one side of the bed I went to touch it and I get electrocuted. The safe was broken. We were promised this would be fixed. Nope. The door handle to the room fell off and it took a solid day to get it fixed. Lastly we wanted to make a reservation to do a tour. When we talked to the staff they said we were confirmed. Good thing we checked later with the new staff member because they said we were not confirmed and the reservation was never placed. The place has great potential with just a couple small adjustments

El check in no fue como esperábamos, a otro huéspedes los recibían con té, a nosotros no. El desayuno es a partir de las 7:30am, el último día teníamos que tomar un tren a las 9am, llegamos a las 7:20am a desayunar y las personas que cocinan llegaron a las 7:45am, eso nos atrasó bastante.

Ein schönes Hotel mit toller dachterrasse wo man frühstücken darf. Alles top und empfehlenswert. Leider hat uns die Lage nicht zu 100% überzeugt. Man muss eine lange Gasse (die nicht sehr einladend wirkt) ganz bist zum Ende durch. Dann waren wir noch im Nebenhaus des Hotels untergebracht wofür wir nochmal eine Ecke rum und eine weitere Gasse durchlaufen mussten. Das Feeling war schon sehr spooky… also an sich top aber man sollte nicht zu ängstlich sein, vor allem wenn man im Dunkeln zurückkehren möchte.

Struttura e personale molto carini e cerimonia del thè ottima. Posizione ottima per visitare la cittá a piedi. Colazione buona e sono stati molto disponibili a farci la colazione d’asporto per una giornata in cui partecipavamo ad un escursione con partenza molto presto. Unica nota negativa quando prenoti con expedia non viene indicato che esistono due strutture, una che non rispecchia le foto e rumorosa, abbiamo esposto al personale che la struttura che avevamo prenotato non era quella e per la seconda notte ci hanno messo in quella giusta ( come da foto expedia)

Riad was walking distance to Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Set menu breakfast of a decent number of dishes. Nice rooms, beautiful communal areas. Smaller compared to some but would recommend.

The hotel was nice clean and quiet. Not child or disability friendly. Just issues around w.c not fixed to the floor felt it will fall over every time and shower cubicle not draining. Unfortunately no natural light which I prefer. Overall it was definitely experience staying in Riad hotel…

Un séjour en amoureux au Top, le ryad est très bien situé a 30 secondes a pied de la place jemma el fna. L'accueil la gentillesse du personnel sans compter leurs professionnalisme est au rendez-vous !! Ils nous ont organisés les excursions et les déplacements et le tout réglé tout au ryad pas besoin de ́negocier a des prix defiants toutes concurrences. Le petit déjeuner et les repas sont divinement bons fait maison et sur place !! Les chambres sont authentiques et tres agréables !! Je recommande !! Nous y retournerons sans la moindre hésitation.

Localização perto da praça principal. Hotel bem menor do que aparenta. Café da manhã começa muito tarde e é bem limitado. Higiene pecou muito. TINHAM BARATAS NO QUARTO. Não ficaria novamente.

The property is in an Old Medina, I dint like the location that much, plus there was a huge cockroach in the bathroom, that was very disgusting to see. The people very nice and ready to assist you at any time.

The room had bugs and the condition of the bathroom was bad. I was not given the room that I was booked from. The staff at my original location made me walk with my suitcase 15 minutes to another location.

The property was absolutely beautiful. Our host (who used to be a teacher!)was very gracious and we were greeted enthusiasticly and with a tea and a desert. Our host did an amazing job helping us book our excursions to the Ouzud Waterfalls and The Agafay Desert for a camel ride + dinner and a special show. The bed was comfortable and the soap and shampoo smelled great. The daily Moroccan Breakfast on the rooftop was delicious. The rooftop is a great space to sit and enjoy the breeze as well. The waitstaff was friendly and prompt. The special Moroccan tea was itself an experience. We also loved the little cat that lives at the rooftop!! The small pool was really nice and cold. It was great to cool off after being out all day in the heat. It was a little noisy on the first floor as our room was in the courtyard but not so much it disturbed my sleep. I would 100% stay here again. Actively dreaming about returning here for the 2030 World Cup! It was an amazing experience to be able to walk through the marketplace from our hotel and the entire staff were absolutely amazing and courteous. Much love from America. Shokran! En shalla!!!

Expérience très décevante malgré un bel emplacemen

J’ai séjourné 2 nuits dans ce Riyad situé en plein cœur de la place Djemaa el-Fna. Si l’emplacement est idéal pour visiter Marrakech, mon expérience a malheureusement été gâchée par un service très décevant. La première nuit a été particulièrement pénible : les bruits sont omniprésents, l’insonorisation est inexistante. J’entendais tout ce qui se passait dans l’établissement. Le pire a été le réveil brutal à 6h du matin causé par la femme de ménage qui déplaçait bruyamment les tables dans la salle du petit-déjeuner. Impossible de me rendormir après ça. Aucune attention n’a été portée au confort ou au repos des clients. Je ne recommande pas cet endroit à ceux qui recherchent un minimum de tranquillité ou de professionnalisme dans l’accueil.

I was unsure how many stars to give this riad. The service deserves 5 stars - huge thanks to AbdeSalam and Mohamed for being so helpful and welcoming. As for the riad itself, here are the pros and cons: Pros: • Excellent location near Jemaa el-Fnaa (behind Café de France) • Traditional Moroccan style • Friendly customer service • Daily breakfast included • AC and Wi-Fi available • Mint tea and pastries on arrival • Room cleaned and towels changed daily • Walking distance to souks and restaurants Cons: • Very old building • Noisy - thin walls and loud doors • Low doorways (watch your head!) • Outdated bathrooms with a moldy smell • Strong fragrance in the building • Saw cockroaches in the room and pool area There are two buildings: the main one (some rooms and for check-in and breakfast) and a second one called “Terraces” where we stayed. It’s a short, safe walk between them. Our room was basic but had essentials like a safe, shampoo, and tissues. Overall, great staff and location, but the building itself could use updates.
