Beautiful house with amazing views

While the weather was a bit fickle for skiing, the house was extremely comfortable. Loved the hot tub.

Wonderful stay

Went for a ski trip for family to try skiing and the location was perfect. Views of the resort, ski in/ski out accessibility if you have your own equipment. Beautiful view of fireworks at resort. Kitchen well-stocked and fun games.

Great family gathering away from it all.

Million dollar views and spectacular sunsets. We loved the house and the area. It is not close to much of anything, so stop at a grocery store on the way and get everything you need. We had a great stay. Plenty of bedrooms and spaces. The pool was a hit with the kids. I recommend a stay here

So convenient, feels like far away

To celebrate a combination of a late Thanksgiving and my husband's (big) birthday, our family gathered together and enjoyed this wonderful place. This app doesnt work well on my phone.

Beautiful

Beautiful mountain home with room for a family to spread out. The view and surrounding neighborhood is absolutely lovely. We enjoyed fishing in the trout pond. The hot tub was a nice way to wind down at the end of the day and the water pressure in the showers was excellent. The washer and dryer worked well. Air conditioning/heat worked well and there were also fans. Kitchen is well equipped to prepare and serve large meals. We saw several deer each day, a bunny a bald eagle and a bear! Highly recommend this property for your mountain getwaway!

Great Mountain Vacation

We pivoted our summer vacation on short notice from Hilton Head to Asheville due to tropical storm Debby. We found this nice mountain house in Wolf Laurel and really enjoyed our stay. Great view and a large, comfortable house where our group of 5 adults and 2 dogs could spread out. Having access to the country club for a fee was a huge benefit. Some of the appliances likely need updating as we had some small issues but the property manager was very responsive to get them fixed. I recommend this property.

TEN OUT OF TEN

The Higher Ground Cabin exceeded all of our group's expectations. The hot tub is brand new; the pool table is in excellent condition; the property is very well maintained inside & out, and the views from the Balcony are stunning, especially at sunset. The location it is extremely convenient too. It's a short drive to multiple trail heads that range from novice to difficult, and if you're looking to make a day trip into downtown Asheville it's only a 30–40-minute drive from the property. Also, not to mention the community is gated and monitored by a security guard when you get to the base of the mountain, which gave us a great sense of security when venturing out. I will definitely be booking Higher Ground again.
