Succulent Oasis

The Oasis of Succulents is located in a quiet area on the northern outskirts of Marsala, 10 minutes from Trapani-Birgi Airport, 15 minutes from the A19 Trapani-Palermo motorway and 50 minutes from the Palermo Falcone-Borsellino Airport.
In the immediate vicinity there are several supermarkets and bars, (including one of the most renowned in the province for its specialties), pizzerias, tobacconists, bank, post office, stationery and church.
Just 5 km away you can reach the historic center of Marsala, the most populous town in the province of Trapani famous all over the world for Marsala wine, for salt pans, for the Punic Ship, for wine cellars (among which the Florio and the Pellegrino, where it is possible to taste the typical vitivinicultural products) and for the Tapestry museum.
At 2 Km from the Oasis of Succulents you can visit the Isole dello Stagnone Nature Reserve, bounded by Isola Grande or Isola Lunga, which includes, in addition to the wonderful salt pans, the islands of Santa Maria and San Pantaleo or Mozia, famous all over the world for the Punic archaeological finds that can be visited at the Whitaker Museum. Admiring the Stagnone you can enjoy excellent sunset aperitifs in a unique landscape, as well as canoeing or sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing and much more.
By ferry, hydrofoil or other boats (to hire) it is possible to reach in a few minutes the Archipelago of the Egadi (Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo) rich in unique seabeds and natural beauties that recall the ecological tourism in a sea famous for its fine fish and tuna fishing.
A 15 minute drive away are the various sandy beaches, characterized by crystal clear waters. The apartment is furnished with new furniture and accessories, equipped with sheets and towels necessary for the living room, has 4 comfortable beds, with the possibility of adding, for free, on request, an extra bed for small children. The environment is air-conditioned and equipped with wi-fi, TV, and iron. The bathroom has a shower, washing machine and hairdryer. In the kitchen there is a fridge, stove, sink, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and all that is necessary to cook and eat both indoors and on an outdoor veranda surrounded by greenery, where there is also a practical barbecue.
The apartment has free indoor parking and offers free use of two bicycles.

Mooi appartement met vriendelijk en gastvrije eigenaar Marco. Een aanrader. Ook de tuin met verschillende cactussen prachtig. Enige nadeel vonden wij dat je voor alle activiteiten afhankelijk bent van een auto.

Ruhige Oase mitten im Westen Siziliens

Der Garten ist traumhaft schön. Die Terrasse schön und bietet zu jeder Tageszeit genug Schatten und Sonne - je nach Geschmack. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und falls doch etwas fehlt, dann bringt es Marco schneller als man fragen kann. Es waren auch Kaffee, Essig, Öl, Salz, Pfeffer, und viele andere Dinge da. Die Wohnung ist gut gelegen - Bäcker und verschiedene Läden sind gut zu erreichen. Trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig. Die Wohnung ist etwas dunkel, das hat uns aber nicht gestört, da es immer gutes Wetter hatte und wir nur zum schlafen in der Wohnung waren. Die Wohnung liegt ca. 4 km von der Stadtmitte von Marsala entfernt in einem Bezirk, der zum Teil etwas verfallen ist. Darin ist das Anwesen wirklich wie eine Oase. Marco war immer sehr hilfsbereit und hatte auch immer gute Tipps für unsere Freizeitgestaltung, wie zum Beispiel ein Ausflug mit einem gemieteten Boot zur Insel Favignana. Es gibt in Marsala einen kleinen Stadtstrand, der nett ist, aber nicht wirklich etwas besonderes. Die schönen Strände sind ca. 15 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Dann gibt es aber mehrere sehr schöne Optionen, auch das Riserva dello Stagnone ist schnell erreicht, mit seinen Windmühlen und den Salinen. Insgesamt ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung des Westens von Sizilien mit Marsala, Trapani, Favignana, Reserva Naturale dello Zingaro, ...

Cadre magnifique avec des dizaines d'espèces de cactus dans le jardin très bien entretenu. L'appartement est un grand studio en entre sol , très agréable avec tout le confort et décoré avec soin. Belle terrasse privative avec table, transat et relax. Procédure d'arrivée au top et la gentillesse de Roberto est à souligner. Nous avons aussi apprécié le chant des perruches et la présence non invasive du Miele le labrador ! A 10 mn en voiture de Marsala et 10 mn des salines. Très belle expérience dans ce logement

I proprietari ci hanno accolto molto calorosamente, mettendoci a nostro agio. Il giardino è un orto botanico, caratterizzato da palme, cactus, rose, colori e delicatissimi profumi. L'appartamento è situato in una tranquillissima zona. Punto ideale per raggiungere ogni punto della Sicilia occidentale

Magnifique !

Nous avons passé un (trop) court séjour dans ce cadre exotique, reposant, disposant d'un logement, d'une terrasse décorés avec beaucoup de raffinement. L'hospitalité de Marco est exceptionnelle ! Cet appartement est très bien situé pour visiter les marais salants, Marsala, les Iles Egades, voire Trapani, Erice avec un peu plus de route. Nous y reviendrons avec beaucoup de plaisir. Encore un grand merci à Marco de nous avoir fait partager son bel univers.

Un'oasi di pace

L'appartamento è comodo e dotato di tutto il necessario. All'esterno si ha a disposizione un patio per trascorrere indimenticabili serate al lume di candela in un contesto caratterizzato da cactus, palme e altre piante che difficilmente si trovano, se non in un giardino botanico. Infine, l'ospitalità dei proprietari ti fa sentire a casa tua! Consigliatissimo! Obbligatorio tornare!

Très bien !

L'appartement est très confortable et très propre, situé dans un jardin paradisiaque où poussent, entre autres, toutes sortes de cactus. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et très serviables. Merci à eux ! Nous regrettons de n'y avoir passé qu'une seule nuit avant de reprendre l'avion tôt le matin à l'aéroport de Trapani (10-15 mn en voiture). Une adresse à retenir sans hésiter donc. Wunderschöne Anlage und Ferienwohnung

Wir haben hier 7 Nächte übernachtet. Hinter dem grünen Tor verbirgt sich eine superschöne Anlage mit unglaublich vielen Kakteen. Der Wohnung ist sehr groß, super sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Eine tolle Teirasse mit Grill gehört ebenfalls dazu. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung möchte ist hier genau richtig. Die Wohnung liegt ideal für Tagestouren.

Eine grüne Oase....

Unser Sizilientrip begann in Marsala,und nach langer Anreise, wurden wir von Marco, Aleo und Angela und Hund, herzlich empfangen, wir sagen nur; hinter dem grünen Tor!!!!; waren wir echt beeindruckt,welche Vielfalt an Kakteen etc. uns da begegnete, Aleo....,ein tolles Hobby :-), das Appartement grosszügig und alles war sehr sauber,auch das Granita zum Empfang war köstlich und war eine willkommene Erfrischung...zum Entspannen und Ruhe finden ideal, ebenso genau richtig um Tagestouren zu starten, wir kommen gern wieder,denn genau das haben wir gesucht,weg vom Stress und die Gastfreundschaft haben wir sehr geschätzt...auf bald und nochmals herzlichen Dank Katrin & Rainer

Super tolle Anlage, saubere und schöne Ferienwohnung

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in der Oasis der Sukkulenten. Hinter einem großen grünen Tor öffnet sich beim Einfahren in die Anlage die ganze Pracht. Der Garten, was eher ein Park ist, ist sehr toll und geschmackvoll angelegt. Viele Kakteen und Palmen sowie Obst und Gewürze die man gerne verzehren kann. Die Fewo ist schön aufgeteilt, sehr sauber und neu renoviert. Für den täglichen Bedarf ist alles vorhanden. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit! Die Fewo ist absolut empfehlenswert!
