Walking distance to good swimming spots, restaurants and local shop (good for baguettes / croissants in the morning). 1000x better than staying in central Marseille. Couldn't recommend enough!

Lovely stay outside of Marseille

We had a very nice stay at La Maronaise! Excellent location if you enjoy being on the water. Beautiful sunsets! The village of Les Goudes is a very beautiful spot, but it helps to be fluent in French especially if you want to go to the restaurants there. The Calenques National Park is a wonder. I highly recommend seeing them from a private boat. Look up Bleu Evasion and ask for Skipper Christophe. He took very good care of us. Hiking is also a great way to see the calenques, but the hike back is very challenging. Don’t rent a car as there is no reserved parking spot and navigating Route de La Maronaise is more trouble than it’s worth. The washing machine is small and wasn’t cleaned. Our clothes came out dirtier than they went in. Check out Cocoonr.fr for more rentals in Marseille. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay if you are looking for a few days of relaxation with your family!

La Maronaise "This is a great place for a vacation to switch off and enjoy the fantastic views of Marseille 🙂 * Incredible view and place * Well equipped * Friendly staff * Comfortable beds The location really deserves a special mention. It is really a magical town with great restaurants and that slow pace and authentic feel you want on a beach holiday. We would definitely come again. 🙁 There are some small niggles though: * The property really wanted us to switch to email communication and using their „portal“. I prefer limiting the companies I give my email address to. * The internet connection at the property is really poor. There is no way you could use it for a video call. 5Mbps max * It is off the beaten track. This is both good and bad: You have to drive quite a while to get anywhere you want to visit."

Nicht sauber, kein Internet, Dachterasse trotz Werbung im Inserat nicht nutzbar, Überwachungskameras in jedem Raum - auch in den Kinderzimmer mit Ausrichtung genau auf das Bett, Kommunikation mit Vermieter (Agentur Cocoonr Marseille) sehr schlecht, Balkontür im ersten Stock wurde vom Wind aufgedrückt und der Verschluss der Aussenläden fiel auseinander und war nur gesteckt. Gute Möglichkeit für Einbrecher. Mängel laut Agentur seit längerem bekannt und nicht behoben. Nie wieder mit dieser Agentur - sie ist nicht seriös.

La Maronaise "La mer est splendide,mais le village est sans interet. La maison est plus ou moins propre. Les lits grincent et la literie est mediocre. Le canapé est juste lamentable,sale et déchiré ! L agent qui nous a accueuilli sur place etait froid et peu hospitalier. Une porte fenêtre ne fermait pas,et une chambre manquait d ampoule,on a du l appeler plusieurs fois pour recevoir un sms des heures plus tard, sans solution au problème. Et pour finir,le jour du depart ils nous ont envoyé ce message :."".. veuillez ne rien prendre qui ne vous appartient pas,même par mégarde !"" Je ne recommande pas l'agence."

La Maronaise "Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour en famille dans cette maison située aux Goudes, quartier/village de pêcheurs situé aux portes du centre de Marseille (25 minutes en voiture pour le Vieux port) Nous cherchions la quietude, la douceur hivernale, le soleil, la mer et la nature, nous avons été servi. Une colline à l arrière de la maison pour admirer les levers et couchers et des randonnées à couper le souffle. Une vrai sensation de bout du monde. La maison est parfaitement équipée. Draps, serviette de bain, ustensiles de cuisine, chauffage ou clim selon la saison, TV, wifi. Quelques resto accesibles à pied mais c'est mieux d'être véhiculés. Mais attention aux excès de confiance. Si vous prenez la voiture pour effectuer des visites, même dans les Calanques n'y laisser aucune valeurs. Les parkings ne sont pas surveillés et les vols sont courants. Nous avons vécus cette malheureuse expérience le dernier jour. Le contact avec l'agence au top, aimable, à l'écoute ! Parfait !"
