“Very cheeky to call this place a 'resort'. At best it's a rundown motel from the 1960s located by the side of a marina. Along a freeway it wouldn't command more than $100 per night compared to any Hampton Inn or Holiday Express. Right on cue, the toilet malfunctioned. And there's the overpowering stench of disinfectant, which I haven't smelled since staying at a grubby motel decades ago. All in, a poor value for money.”

“We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. “Kendra was wonderful, but she was the highlight of the visit. The website advertises complimentary wine upon check-in as well as a host a amenities. We were expecting a 4 or 5 star experience given the enormous price paid for a single room. There was no wine offered at check-in. The jacuzzi was broken. The mini-golf and outdoor activities were not useable...no balls, a completely un-maintained area, etc. The room was nice, but staring up at the HVAC vents showed spider webs and dust. ……
