“The room didn’t have a phone, alarm clock, hair dryer, coffee pot, or any kitchen essentials as it was advertised as a kitchenette. Not too mention no breakfast was served on the site. Also we had to leave a day early due to the storm and gave plenty of notice and the man at the front desk said there was nothing he could do. The price was outrageous for a bed!!!! Won’t be back! ”

“Nichole was so helpful. We were arriving after 7:30pm and she suggested the J Huston Tavern in Arrow Rock for dinner. She also made our check in after hours easy. This Hotel is lovely and the gardens were beautiful. We loved this historic hotel and the Railroad History. We slept in a comfortable post bed. It was more than a hotel it was also a museum for us. Recommend, recommend and recommend.”

“This hotel is exactly as advertised. It is a beautiful, quaint, elegant hotel in the middle of downtown Sedalia. They have really done a lot to maintain the original construction as much as possible.
The food in the Oak Room was 5 stars and moderately priced.
Excellent walking distance to almost anything you would like to see.
The downtown architecture is beautiful.
Would definitely return.”

“Check in time was 4pm. Asked several times if room was ready. Finally at 445 got in room.
Stayed in dog friendly room. Room was nice but floor had dog hair from previous pet. Our yorkie doesn't shed, so hair was not hers. Mentioned to front desk so we wouldn't be charged for extra cleaning. Overall nice, clean hotel and casino. Nice restaurant.”
