"The site was naturally beautiful, on top of a mountain. As I sat out next to the BBQ grill, a deer walked out into the driveway and stood on its hind legs to eat new leaves off the nearby bushes, just 20 feet away. The property was clean and had everything a person could imagine needing. The owners were friendly and gave me plenty of privacy. There's nothing going on nearby other than nature, but if that's what you are looking for, it is an excellent stay. "

"We were four family/friends away for a weekend of hiking and relaxation. The cabin is in a wonderful area with excellent prospects for exploring the outdoors. We hiked a small portion of the Appalachian Trail and also visited Harpers Ferry. We could have simply sat on the porch with a book as well, since the view is very relaxing. "My husband and I enjoyed a weekend at the cabin. We found it clean, comfortable and well equipped. We brought food and didn't feel the need to drive anywhere. We popped a bottle of wine and grilled steaks on the charcoal grill. Caution it is a very small grill. The road to the house and driveway were a bit daunting and I was grateful we arrived during daylight. Quite steep. I'd be cautious arriving or leaving in the dark.
