Located 25 miles from Asheville, NC in Marshall is a little piece of heaven. Located atop a mountain with clear views of the valley this place will make you question why you live in the city. You can spend your evenings relaxing by the fire or venture out into the area where there is lots to see and do. Asheville is only 35 minutes away and is home to some of the best restaurants you can find. Arts, crafts, shopping etc are at your fingertips as well as tons of hiking trails.

We only got to enjoy this place for 2 nights but we had a great time. Unfortunately our full day there the downtown area was closed. My onlyyy complaint is the bed was wayyy to hard for me and my husband.the view was worth every penny and backache lol..thank you for the memories

What an amazing romantic getaway

Wow! This beautiful handcrafted cabin is the perfect romantic mountain getaway. The views are STUNNING!! My wife and I enjoyed every aspect of this cabin and property. Just wow! The owner is super friendly and has great communication. We never stay at the same place twice, but we are making an exception for this property. We will be back!

The property is exactly as described. A great way of getting to the outdoors while still having a normal bed to sleep in and kitchen to cook. Rather grill no problem. Grab a pizza just 19 minutes away But the view all around the property is fairly isolated. It is well water and would recommend bringing your own Hope to go again

Perfect Mountain Cabin Trip

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing experience with this property in February. The cabin was extremely clean and cozy. There are grocery stores in Marshall about 30 minutes from the property and plenty of activities in Asheville about an hour away. Bob was an excellent host who provided all the information and directions we needed. If you’re looking for a quiet mountain getaway then we highly recommend this cabin.

Little Cabin in Paradise!

If you are looking for a beautiful couple’s vacay, look no further. Comfy queen size bed, cozy and rustic cabin aesthetic, vistas that will leave you in awe—I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed my weekend. And the host, Mr. Franklin, gave me all the details I needed right off the bat. That saved me so much hassle! Thank you to Mr. Franklin and Vrbo for this wonderful experience!

Peaceful getaway!

We loved our start and the cabin was perfect for the two of us and our pup. The clean Mountain air erased the stress from the work week and we enjoyed the fireplace and the firepit. Everything was clean and comfortable and Bob communicated proactively every step of the stay. We will definitely be returning!

Birthday Getaway

We passed the driveway going up to the cabin and had to turn around but that's because we were looking at the incredible scenery and missed the sign at the base of the drive. Total seclusion, beautiful deck overlooking a valley and the mountains across the way. The highlight for this woman from Florida: IT SNOWED ON MY BIRTHDAY! I highly recommend this place for those who want to get away from it all.

Home away from home

I loved everything about this cabin ! The location is secluded enough to find tranquility and it has all the essentials. The view was breathtaking !I was so happy I was able to take my fur babies with me and we had a great time. The place was so clean and organized. The owner was very responsive too which is wonderful. I will definitely be back . There was also an Ingles grocery store nearby to buy anything you need.

Awesome cabin

This cabin is amazing. It was hand built by the owner and you can see all the thought and detail that went into it. It’s very secluded and has an amazing view. It’s rustic but had some very nice modern touches. We would absolutely stay here again.
