「I truly enjoyed staying at this property. My friend and I were on a research trip and spent a lot of time on the front porch working. WiFi was very strong and the home was fully furnished with everything we needed. We were even invited to pick fresh strawberries in the garden! We both really enjoyed ourselves and agreed when we have to do one more trip in VA we’ll be staying here again.」

「We loved the cozy living room and amazing screen porch. There was plenty of space for our two young kids, us, and my sister! There was a huge and super comfy sectional sofa and a great fireplace that we made an awesome fire in with the firewood that the hosts left for us. We had a great time hanging out in the house since it rained most of the weekend and was pretty cold. When it did clear up a little, the view from the dock was gorgeous! Had we not had two small children and our dog running...

「We've stayed at many VRBOs and this adorable cottage ranks very high on our list! It was the cleanest place we've ever stayed and we really appreciated all of the extra towels and cozy blankets. The hot tub and fire pit were fun evening activities, and the smart tvs came loaded with many of our favorite programs. The appliances were brand new and the kitchen had everything we needed, including an electric tea kettle. The backyard view was fantastic, and we also enjoyed sitting on the front porch...

「We chose this area for how close it was to Hanging Rock. However, it rained very hard almost the whole time we were there. But the house was so comfortable that we really enjoyed just hanging out there. Very clean, with a lot of thoughtful details (spices, teas, coffee) and the sheets on the bed were so soft and amazing! The hosts were very easy to message and we always got a quick response. Would definitely go back!」

「Beautiful house and very clean. The house is remote. Would recommend you plan to stay at the home the whole time. The lake is beautiful and private. We suggest bringing your supplies down to the lake so you don’t have to go back up and down the hill from the lake. We did enjoy our stay. We would go back with friends and family.」

It was hands down much better than a hotel and waking up in the wooded area and seeing deers in the morning was so great! Communication was quick with owners as well! Thank you!! If we are ever in that area again, I would absolutely stay again. 🙂」
