Angel House was really fantastic. Close to Ubud but out of the chaos. Lovely furnishings with Balinese art and woodwork. It is located close to the little village of Mas with art galleries and there is a wonderful walk through rice fields with fab Indonesian restaurants. Thanks so much to Kadek and Veema for wonderful hospitality.

Awesome Stay!

Angel House was awesome, great place to relax and away from the real hustle and bustle of Ubud. Owners were great with amazing tips for the area. Fina was exceptional and made the breakfast and experience a stay not to forget.

This is the perfect small hotel if you’re looking for a true Bali experience. Angel House is beautiful, clean, and an incredible value. The breakfast is the best I’ve ever had. The location is great; out of the hustle and bustle, but close to everything

We loved this option because of the location in the town of MAS which is a much more authentic Bali option than the hassle of UBUD. Around the area are many wood carvers - so you can find a lot of amazing antiques, masks, etc. We had a MANGKU (local holy man) we visited that lived near there. There is also an INCREDIBLE restaurant across the street called TonyRaka which had really authentic and healthy Indonesian food - we ate there every day. Plus the location is Eco - it doesn't use chemical pesticides - which at the last place I stayed - they used it and it made me feel very foggy - so it was amazing to see how truly Eco this location was. Great breakfast, they also can arrange a massage for you.

We recently stayed at Angel House Eco Villa, and it was the perfect peaceful retreat just 10-15 minutes by car or motorbike from the center of Ubud. The villa is incredibly clean and surrounded by a beautiful garden, with a refreshing pool that became our favorite spot to relax. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to answer any questions we had. The breakfasts were delicious, and there are some great restaurants nearby for other meals. The local village community was very welcoming—we were even invited to a temple ceremony, which was a truly unique and memorable experience. As a group of four, we had the whole villa to ourselves, making it feel like a private oasis. Our only suggestion would be to repair some of the tiles in the pool, but that didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment. If you’re looking for a calm, relaxing escape just outside Ubud, Angel House Eco Villa is an excellent choice!

What an absolutely delightful, authentic, and incredible stay we had at the Angel House Eco Villa! When we first arrived, 80% of Bali was experiencing a power outage in the evening. The staff was very accommodating and upgraded us to the room on the second floor so that we would be cooler (and nobody was there or checking in for a few days). It made a huge difference while we waited for the power to turn on, which it did around 9 p.m. The ac in the rooms works like a dream! Both rooms were very clean and tidy with modern structure mixed with Balinese architecture that provided a beautiful feeling. The garden is extraordinary and well kept, with mosquito traps that are safe to other insects. Did I also mention they compost? Pretty incredible. Being an eco villa, there were also signs and instructions for conserving waste and energy which really made us feel like we chose the right place. The pool was well maintained and very clean - not to mention an absolute delight when the hot humid Bali weather gets to you! It's also spring fed with very clean water, and speaking of water there are at least two filtered water stations we could fill our bottles up any time with no charge...a real asset in Bali! Breakfast in the morning was delicious and special with Vinna who was so sweet and kind in making our food. On that note, the absolute stellar aspect of Angel House is THE STAFF! Vinna was a darling, Pak Kadek was so warm and friendly, and Ibu Wayan kept the place beautiful with the

This is definitely a secret gem in Ubud. It is just outside of Ubud, so it is much quieter. The staff were so helpful and friendly. It really made our stay memorable. It is only a small vila with 3 rooms. Breakfast was included and was always delicious. There are Balinese as well as Western choices. There are several restaurants and warungs within a 10 minute walk from the Villa as well as several convenience stores and ATMs. The room was comfortable and very clean. If you are visiting Ubud for a short or long stay I highly recommend Angel House!

The Angel House was the perfect place to stay near Ubud. Annie & her staff are very nice. The highlight are the bed, linen and the deep (but small) pool. Fantastic time @ Angel House....we are coming back.

Nous sommes arrivés en plein milieu d’après midi dans ce superbe endroit reculé du trafic de ubud. La personne qui gère cet hôtel est très agréable et vraiment très gentille. Nous avons passés une superbe nuit, le décor est typique et chaleureux. Le matin vous avez le choix pour votre petit dejeuner, fait avec des produits frais et cuisinés devant vous. Nous avons mangés les fabuleux pancakes ananas chocolat. Je recommande a 100% ce lieu :)

Feeling of home – Top notch!

I booked initially 2 nights and extended for 3 more. There are 3 accommodations around this small luxurious garden with refreshing swimming pool with clean and fresh water; good for a swim in the morning or after a day of sight-seeing. Everything was perfect, the team is welcoming, friendly and professional; breakfast (large choice) is delicious with organic ingredients and mainly homemade. The bedding is very comfortable. They pay attention to details in the rooms and it is very clean and neat. Garden is well maintained. The House is located in Mas, 10-15’ drive to Ubud center, perfect location for those who want to stay away from busy touristic city center; yet close. The best is to rent a scooter (they can arrange it for you) to get around Ubud and do sightseeing; or the staff can provide drop off/pick-up to/from Ubud. The Internet is very good and fast; if you need to do some work that’s also convenient. So if you’re looking for a friendly cosy and quite environment, don’t look any further, that’s your place!
