“We loved the quirky "olden day" cabins and yet they were so beautiful and classy inside. For staying in a cabin where we had to use the shared kitchen and bathrooms, I was nervous about the cleanliness and I was amazed at how clean everything was. Everything was easy to use, no confusion. Our kettle didnt want to open in our cabin and it was quickly replaced by another. Lovely playground and tennis courts basically on the premises and easy short walk to the main street through Greytown!……

“It was the perfect house for us. I stayed there with my three school-age grandkids. There were lots of games, activities and bikes etc for them and plenty of room to spread out. We initially had a problem with the TV but the owner, who lives nearby, promptly came and fixed it. Great Service!!”

“A relaxing vibe. It was hot so a lot of time was spent in the pool. The kids were easy to watch, and didn’t want to go anywhere else. The dog loved it. The supermarket was close and the BBQ was used each night. The wisteria provided shade and the stars were glorious. 5/5 from us. Thanks for sharing your magical place - much appreciated ”

“This is a very comfortable home in a quiet location close to Greytown’s lovely shops. We found the cigarette smell at the entrance a little off putting but inside was clean and tidy and we enjoyed our stay, it had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. We would happily stay there again.”

“The house is lovely, so lovely in fact that I wouldn't mind living in it permanently as the layout suited our family so perfectly. The first night was very windy, which did make sleeping difficult, but that would have been the case with any house in an open field in that wind. The location was also ideal - close enough to shops and restaurants, but rural enough to feel like a real breakaway from city life. The only thing I would have changed is to maybe have one or two of the wardrobes unlocked……

“We had a wonderful time staying in this gorgeous spacious villa which has been put together with so many thoughtful and generous details. We particular loved the beautiful living space, the log fire, the heaters in all the bedrooms and the coffee machine. We also loved being just a short walk from the town. “This property is a real back to basics. We've been to lovely hotels and B&Bs but this stay gave us the true rest we were looking for. We were met by Tom, who is a true gentleman, he showed us around and had baked fresh bread for us with butter, milk and breakfast waiting. No oven or cooktop but the bbq was adequate. Chooks visited each day and the paddocks, with the cows in, were only metres from the French doors. Not for everyone but it rejuvenated our souls. We are going back to stay again.……
