Playful manner the room was decorated in. Attractive colour scheme and decor, extra effort was made to make the space feel warm and appealing. Clean and functional bathroom. Comfortable bed. Very walkable neighborhood, we parked our car for three days and had close access to stores, restaurants, and the historic district. Excellent home base location.

Cute little room with a mini fridge and clean bathroom. Less than a 5-minute walk to Sassi di Matera. Wonderfully convenient, close to restaurants and cafes. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Washroom was clean as well. I would stay here again.

Comfortable room, very clean. I walked from the train station (10-15 min) and to the bus station (25 min). You can easily walk everywhere and there are a lot of good dining options around. The owners are very nice and it’s easy to communicate with them on Whatsapp. I would highly recommend.

Rino met us at the property and was an outstanding host. He answered any questions and gave us suggestions for Matera. He also spoke English well. The room was in a perfect location for seeing Matera, only two short blocks until this beautiful city came into view. There is plenty of street parking and also nearby pay parking. We saw people lugging their luggage in and out of Matera, and this seemed much easier. When we come back we will stay here again.

Fantastic location very close to the Sassi and to a cafe for breakfast. Rino was very friendly and helpful. He didn’t always reply immediately to messages but we had no problems with arranging to meet to check in at a time that suited us. He gave us excellent recommendations for dining. The metal bed was comfortable but a bit creaky. We came in May and found a parking space 50m from the appartment. Not sure if it would have been so easy during high season. Overall it met our needs.

Very nice and convenient spot to experience Matera, which is a must see city landscape. Clear and easy to follow instructions provided by host made check-in super smooth. Parking instructions were also invaluable.

The location was perfect. Close to the old town. We could find a free parkjng but can be very hard... the place looks like new. Good bathroom and shower. Good beds But the room is small and the walls are paper thin. So you can hear the guests on the other room, talking, flushing toilet, taking showers...(the appartment we stayed had 2 rooms) luckly they didnt make any noise late so we could sleep well There is a fridge at room.. but there is nothing on shared space or room for heating water for tea or making coffee

Um pouco confuso o check in pois não há recepção e a chave é deixada numa caixinha, só que não deram as informações antecipadas e fonos direto no local para deixar as mochilas, visto que o Check-in é aomente às 15hs e andar por Matera com mochila nas costas não há condições. Nao havia ninguém no local e um hóspedes abriu a porta para nós e deixamos as bagagens num canto. Escrevi para o hotel e ele trponderam rapidamente e guardaram a bagagem. Apesar do mal entendido o local é ótimo, todo reformado e com uma decoração acolhedora e ao final tudo terminou bem, apesar da falta de informação antecipada. O local cale a pena e é muito bem localizado, na entrada do centro histórico de Matera. Recomendo. Apenas se atente a bagagem se vc chegar cedo na cidade, pq é impossível visitar Matera com bagagem e mochila. No mais é muito bonito e acolhedor o quarto.
