「I have not been to many properties in Matheran, but I would say this is an ideal property for a fun vacation it is located over from the hustle and bustle of the city and you feel like you’re in the quiet hills cottage. The property is old, but very well preserved and staff is very courteous and very helpful. It is just an amazing fun to sit in the morning or in the evening at the swing and listen to the birds chirping. Even if you don’t stay here, you should come here to eat the lunch or...

「I was sold the room at Rs.13000+ per room night but on expedia itself the price a day later was around Rs.4000. I understand demand and supply but why should this disparity be there. Can you please review and advise.」

「It's a cute little place, pretty close to everything, but off the main roads so traffic noise is minimized. Above all, the staff are very nice. The food and beverage at the restaurant had many options and everything I tried was quite good. Really nice birds start singing early in the morning and continue till dusk. If you can avoid getting a room right next to the restaurant patio, it will be better. (You can hear everything from the restaurant inside your room in at Room 201.)」
