What a lovely, cosy and well thought out cottage .Everything and more was as described .Couldn’t think of one thing we might have wanted differently .We felt at home and very comfortable. Thank you for a great stay , the perfect place for exploring the Peak District and snuggling up on a a winter’s evening

Lovely little stay, a bit big for me in the end as I ended up going alone, though had booked for my older children to come with me. House was clean and tidy, plenty of space, plenty of clean towels etc. The WiFi code in the cottage folder needed updating but a quick text to the owner soon sorted the issue.Great base to getting to Matlock, Bakewell etc nice pubs in the village and a cafe. Best of all were the beautiful walks round the villages hills. I did several while there but noticed more and more 'public footpath' signs all the time.Would definitely go again. Back garden is on several terraces so do bear that in mind if you or your party are a little unsteady on their feet. My little dog had trouble getting up to one level but I just carried him up or down the steps or steered him the other way out of the door to do his business.
