Room was filthy, dust, dirt and cobwebs. Bathroom smelt like poo. Sink leaked. Entire room smelt of damp. Bed atrocious. The pillows were flat as pancakes and very old. Fridge didn't work. Staff friendly.

Small , but nice bedroom, bed lovely and comfy , nice clean bedding, little sink in corner of bedroom , didn't get any hot water from the tap, enough tea and coffee etc for a night stop over, now the bathroom had a horrible smell coming from it , possibly from the sink hole, tiny sink with shelf above was a bit awkward to clean teeth, friendly lad on reception.

We really enjoyed the whole stay. The scenery and set up is beautiful. Our room was lovely and bedding clean. Staff were amazing. Very friendly. The only issue we had was the food. We have a meal in the restaurant and it was £16 for a microwave curry. Drinks expensive and breakfast basic. This is the only thing to let it down. However there is plenty of food options in Matlock Bath itself.

There was a lot of dust around especially at high level. We expected to get continental breakfast but were told due to their been a lot of children there it wasn’t possible. When we booked, A continental breakfast was mentioned in the booking then when we got there we were told it wasn’t possible. The tea coffee milk and sugar were poor, we had to go and get some more from the desk. They seemed a little disorganised.

I booked a comfort room as it was just myself and my partner staying. We arrived earlier than check in so parked to car in the car park and carried on with our day. Reception and most of the accommodation is up a steep hill. At check in time the receptionist was lovely and gave us all the information needed. Our accommodation was back down near the bottom of the hill and had own parking area. The block looked and felt pretty new it was called willows and was all wind in the willows themed. Our room was called rabbit, it was very clean and couldn’t fault it at all. Would definitely stay there again

The property was ok for family's and travellers of 2 or more. The banister and carpet into restaurant needed a good clean due to little sticky fingers and feet. Hence we tried not to hold onto banister due to going to eat. The rooms did not have shower mats, although we asked if we could have one. But one couldn't be provided. This was very dangerous as shower got very slippy when wet. Small towels were given to us instead to use. Explain that the fire doors, although had notices to keep shut, were propped open, should should have notices to shut quietly as could be heard slamming by rooms nearby.

Really really bad. Dirty, expensive, poorly maintained and had hardly any sleep due to kids screaming and playing knock a door run until 11pm. Wouldn't recommend - we travel theme parks around the world and stay in on site accommodation regularly. This was by far the worst.

Staff helpful enough but when you have a leaf blower waking you up right outside your door, is not pleasant experience. The place is highly dated, you are staying very near other guests so it is not private at all. Kids loved bunk beds but could easily escape as they could easily reach the lock as there bedroom curtain is right next to the exit, was ok for one trip but wouldn’t return again

Room was very warm but geared towards a family with double room and bunk bed. Staff were all friendly. The down side was very little light in the room, just a skylight. Also, no views. Other rooms may have better light and views though. Price for my room was very reasonable

The room was extremely dusty with cobwebs also, my daughter was sneezing all night. I feel the room were only for in season as not been maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very confusing where to go as we arrived evening and you had to drive down to room after checking in. Feel like this is accommodation just for families staying at theme park. Bar was closed also due to a school trip.
