"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin hosted by Evan! Communication was fast and easy when we had questions, the place was clean and cozy. We loved the small homey touches like fresh flowers on the kitchen table and there were fresh sunflowers surrounding the house along with some other beautiful flowers and the giant magnolia tree! The yard is nice and big and flat, perfect for our fur babies! I would recommend keeping them on leads at all times, even if they have good recall, as the house is right off the road. The driveway is easy to miss, but Evan helped out with that with a flag so you don't miss it! They provide all linens and towels and everything was fresh and clean, we used our own bed linens at the request of the host since our pups sleep with us. They had full size shampoo, conditioner and bodywash in case you forget yours and also a hair dryer and there were spare toothbrushes as well while we were there. The kitchen is fully equipped and they do ask since they are on a well to conserve water as much as possible, so no dishwasher for those wanting one. There is a Primo water tank for fresh drinking water, all utensils, including some disposable ones, everything you need to cook! Across the road there are stairs that lead to the river flat where there are chairs and a fireplace for you to enjoy the new river. Be careful as the steps are steep and the hand rail is wobbly! We loved this place so much and are already planning another trip! 10 outta 10!!!!"

"Was very impressed with this home. The amenities that was available worked for our stay. We had everything we needed to cook and even grill out. We had two adults and 3 teenage girls and our dog. No one wanted to leave. Very quit, minus the trains. Property was kept up and was shocked to discover two apple trees on the property. We would definitely book again on our next trip. Definitely a home away from home experience."

"This charming country cottage was everything we hoped for. The property is close to town but seemed miles away. The house was clean and well equipped. The front porch was the favorite gathering place. The host was easy to communicate with and went out of his way to return some forgotten items. I would rent it again."

"Loved it! The Guesthouse is like staying at a friend’s house. Very comfortable relaxing lodging experience. Different than staying in a regular hotel. A little more money but well worth it! I will probably stay there again when I’m in the area. Highly recommend the Guesthouse if you want your stay to be part of the experience!"

"Beautiful suite that consisted of a living area with beautiful coffee bar, small frig and microwave. The decor and furnishings were so beautiful. The bathroom not only had a gorgeous shower but the floor marble tiles were heated! The bathroom was large with a nice size vanity and huge mirror. Our Friday night stay was a little loud outside pretty late. There was a big wedding reception at The General Lewis and we could hear the loud music. It finally quieted down around midnight. Sat night was nice and quiet! We really enjoyed the convenient location. We will be staying again in the future."
