OUTRIGGER Honua Kai Resort & Spa

"Pros: The grounds are beautiful and well maintained the pools were great for kids, there were alot of people there so you have to go early to get a good seat, that was not really an issue for us. They have signs everywhere stating you cant save seats but they dont enforce it. It was a clean room. Cons: We got a "Garden View room" it was basically a parking lot view but you could see the mountains and rainbows. The unit wasnt stocked well, no salt or pepper, very few storage containers for leftovers, I had to go buy some, no baggies, plastic wrap or anything of that nature. There was a half roll of paper towels. The furniture in the living room was very uncomfortable and out dated. The kitchen table was horrible, you couldnt scoot your chair under the table which was very inconvenient for little kids. There's not alot of outlets for chargers! Overall, it was good place for us and our family of 6 for a week."

"This is a great hotel located in the heart of Kihei. We always stay here to add 1-2 nights to our vacation. The best part of this hotel is the pool area - there’s a lap pool and leisure pool, plus 3 hot tubs. The pool grill and bar is also very nice. Hotel is across the street from the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Bicycle rental onsite."

"The room was clean with an ocean view as requested. We had access to the Lanai Lounge which was amazing! The staff was friendly and always willing to help and answer any questions we had. It had restaurants on site and was next to a mall. Location was ideal!"

"Our room was absolutely perfect. We arrived around noon and it was already ready. Our room was next to the smaller pool and it was perfect at night it was a short walk to the hot tub. The walk to the beach is also a very short walk. The sand is nice and soft and well taken care of. The landscape is so beautiful walking around the property is a must. We definitely will stay here again when we return to Maui. Another bonus parking was free!😀"

"We arrived early and we were upgraded, able to be placed in a room opening up to the pool. Great section. Very nice pool area. Nice retro/vintage vibe. Basic stuff. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again."

"We had a nice time and the hotel was nice. It’s definitely fairly lively with kiddos. The adult pool is close to a main restaurant so not a lot of true quiet time anywhere on property. Rooms are spacious, clean and nice verandas. All the restaurants were tasty. The kids slide for those coming with families is definitely a hit. Overall we enjoyed our time but would have liked a few more adult/quiet pool options for reading and relaxing."
