"We wanted to stay forever and weren't ready to leave after 5 days. It was clean, and it is so high up in the treetops that the morning sunrise and birding wildlife are next-level spectacular to enjoy (hummingbirds, stellars jays, deer). We stayed in the middle of July which was not an issue for the A/C unit in the bedroom upstairs. There is a vent from the bedroom that pumps air down to the second floor. The temps are easy to manage with the cool of the morning, and the A-frame was precisely set to enjoy views but not get blasted with the midday the sun. Loved the hot tub experience-- very clean. Finally, we had excellent communication with our host. Immediate responses. The whole experience was incredibly easy, and we felt safe. Just know what you're in for in spring/winter because the roads starting with the 2-3 turns leading up could be a different challenge in snow or icy conditions. Finally, there are several close hiking trails. No issue coming and going. As with any Evergreen property, you have curvy, winding roads in and out of there. This one is at elevation 8660. We were still in and out daily visiting trails, Evergreen Lake, Golden (father), concerts, and horseback riding. Marking one of our turns leading up was a quirky animal skull/ bones display about 1/3 mile from the property (not the host's). It's something we chuckled about each time we turned the corner that marked our destination, so a memory now."

"Absolutely gorgeous place nestled in the foothills southwest of Evergreen. Place was well-equipped in the kitchen and bathroom. Take note that there is no A/C, so it can get a little stuffy during the heat of the day during summer months. But, opening all the windows allows the rooms to cool down just fine in the evenings. Communications with the host were fantastic. This is a great romantic place to stay that’s away from it all."

"This is a great location for a couple or small family. Very clean with comfortable furnishings. Do keep in mind that there is a spiral staircase with the bathroom in the first floor and the bedrooms on the second. The location is outstanding if you want to visit some of the nearby attractions. While the nearby Evergreen has several shops and restaurants. Mt Blue Sky is about an hour drive and was an amazing place to visit."
