「Nice hotel. Everything worked. Note: they charge a 10% Expedia booking fee along with a ridiculous exchange rate. We settled on using the actual exchange rate and 4%.」

「Lovely lodge, lovely staff, abundant wildlife」

「Adorable!!! Great location and such a boutique feel. The rooms were good size, the had water in the lobby for us. The staff was super friendly and quick check in, they took us to our rooms, insisted on taking our bags for us (two rooms). We declined cleaning our rooms the next day and just requested towels, they were delivered quickly. The location was great, I am so glad we picked this place!」

「So it’s not right next to central Iquitos, but that doesn’t matter. Central is a quick moto taxi ride for very cheap, or a 15-20 minute walk. What matters to me is how nice this place was. 「 Very nice and friendly staff. Breakfast is good, fresh juice and coffee. Every room has A/C and clean.」

「Great little sanctuary within the city. The property is large with surrounding walls so it is quiet apart from birds and nature sounds despite being in the city. The room was so cute and ac worked very well. No hot water but you definitely don't need it in Iquitos. The breakfast was very good and served to your door - bread with jam, eggs, plantains, fresh juice, and coffee.」

「Conveniently close to everything」

「I traveled with my family to the Cumaceba lodge. We stayed for three nights and four days. We had an amazing Amazon experience! Our guide Dixon was fabulous! He made our stay even better by his experience and knowledge of the area, animals, and flora. The 2 to 3 excursions per day kept us busy and always wanting to find more wonders of the rainforest. I would truly recommend this lodge if you are wanting a hands-on experience of the Amazon.」
