Beautifully decorated from the era, this 1890's hotel has huge Jacuzzi bathtubs in the rooms and high-end towels/linens. We arrived back from lunch to find robes/slippers on our bed with a note telling us to wear them to the spa at 3pm for our couples massage! It was divine. We also ate at their farm-to-table restaurant. They require your selection by 2pm for the 7pm dinner, as it is very small and intimate. The chef demonstrated how to make the dessert (Bananas Foster that day) and then served it to us, along with a beignet. That demonstration made the already fabulous dinner even more memorable. The only thing I would improve upon is the bed. Although very soft and lush, there is lack of support somewhere, and I rolled towards my wife all night, which put stress on my back. Overall, it is a grand and relaxing place. If you like nature, take a walk on the floating boardwalk at the north end of the Horicon Marsh. The south end is lovely too.
