Casa Tinuca for 2 people

Casa Tinuca is a typical “montañesa” house situated in the CENTRE OF CANTABRIA, and made up of the house, the old cattle shed, an annex and vegetable garden. The whole accommodation has been restored with traditional materials from the region, which has made it possible to convert it into two exclusive rural apartments, preserving all the charm of an age old Cantabrian country house.

The house is surrounded by natural environment which is ideal for a getaway and where you can enjoy nature in its purest form. So it is quite common to encounter the flight of a bird of prey, the sudden appearance of a cow or simply the proximity of a duck or goose gracefully going down the little stream that borders the house.

We are a retired couple spending three months bicycling in northern Spain. The host and his son took great care to show us where everything was and how it worked. We speak no Spanish, but they were kind and patient and made sure we had what we needed. The apartment is lovely and complete, the location is absolutely beautiful. We bike through Santa Lucia park to a large grocery store 4 miles away and brought back all the supplies for dinner and breakfast. We played with the puppy next door. We watched the cows come down from their high pasture in the evening and return to the pasture the next morning. We loved this place and highly recommend it.

Ubicado en una zona tranquila en plena naturaleza, es un buen centro de operaciones para hacer excursiones y visitar pueblos de alrededor. Pasamos alli un par de días y el alojamiento es perfecto para una pareja, la cocina bien equipada, la habitacion espaciosa y el baño muy cómodo. Es importante precisar que nuestra estancia ha sido en plena "era Covid", en ese sentido, Valentín nos recibió dandonos todo tipo de explicaciones facilitándonos incluso gel hidroalcohólico, la sensación de seguridad ha sido total. Recomendamos sin duda la estancia.
