We arrived and was checking and I had to give them my credit card and pay again because the person checking us in did not understand that we had already paid in advance. Later someone else voided the transection and credited my credit card; it think. I have not seen the credit on card but neither has the transection at the hotel appeared. We stayed for three days because we did not have a choice. First, we had gone to McAllen because of the hurricane that was heading toward our town. Second, we had paid in advance and could not get a refund. Third, we had a pet and because of the hurricane it was the only place we could find that would take our pet.
For the three days we stayed the room was not cleaned once; we were only given towels and only if we asked for them. When asked if they would clean the room, the maid responded that she did not have time because she was the only one working. The room itself was not totally bad but I would not say it was good either. The Wi-Fi did not work even though they insisted it was my phone. We had three cell phones, none of them could pick up the Wi-Fi signal.
If hotel.com is going to book this place for folks I would say you are going to loss credibility. I certainly will not use hotel.com again and would never recommend this hotel to anyone not even my pet.
