First time to McCall
This was our first time to visit this part of the US. McCall did not disappoint. Absolutely beautiful and the house was a great addition. The photos online made it seem bigger than it was. But was enough room for two adults. Between what we brought and what was furnished in the house, we did not want for anything. Being right on the Payette river was a bonus. The neighborhood was nice and very quiet. We walked the neighborhood and enjoyed the sights. Very close and downtown and the Shore Lodge.

Fantastic McCall getaway!
We were in town for a wedding at the shore lodge. We had 5 people in our family and this cabin worked perfectly. We would rent it again in a second. Kitchen was well stocked with essential equipment. Lovely decor. Good view of the river.

This is a beautifully maintained property with a magnificent view of the Payette river. Walking distance to the shore lodge and other restaurants. Property was as advertised. The only negative was that the deck was smaller than it appeared in the listing.

Enjoyed the Getaway
Super easy process from booking to checkout. Very pretty view. Easy parking if you have a large truck or van. Was not an issue for us but based on the photos it was a little smaller than I imagined. Everything was clean and tidy. Was even treated to a deer family out the kitchen window one evening snacking. I would book again for future trip.

Fun in McCall
The cabin fit our needs perfectly. Nicely equipped kitchen. We did ind the ice cube trays in the freezer. Hard to open but worked. Thanks for a great time.

Disappointing cabin
This was an over priced cabin. Upon arrival you had to walk along a wooden bridge with steps from the garage. Very inconvenient while carting luggage. There were no closets for hanging clothes. The beds were worn & hard as rocks. The bedding had a musty smell. Overall we were very disappointed in this property

Great place to stay!!!
The Carlson Cabin is a very nice place to stay - very clean; comfy newer beds; on-site laundry; garage. It has a beautiful view of the river, however access is extremely steep even for someone who is quite fit. A portion has stairs, but the handrails are rope and not supportive. Sitting out on the deck is lovely, although there is a bit too much deck furniture and we had to move some of it to the garage. We would definitely stay again! Our family of 4 does much better in a home environment than trying to share a hotel room. The cost was at or below the cost of an average hotel room for McCall.

Great little spot
We had a nice weekend escape in a spot close to town yet it felt like we were way out in the woods. We stayed in and cooked at the kitchen was well stocked. Comfy beds and a clean cabin as well!

Fantastic cabin in the woods!
Loved this place! It was a little smaller than the pictures made it look, but it was well equipped, super clean and they even had a little Christmas tree put up. We will definitely be back, location was perfect. Highly recommend!

Perfect holiday family getaway
Our cabin is under remodel and we love spending holidays in the mountains. Thos little place by the river satisfied our needs. It was quiet and the view was beautiful. Plenty of things in the kitchen to cook big meals. So wonderful to have our four legged children along with us.

Nice, cozy cabin on the Payette
We loved the cabin! It was perfect for my husband, our two teenagers and two dogs. The kitchen was well-appointed and the beds were very comfortable. It’s a little smaller than what the pictures show (wide angle lens) but that did not deter our enjoyment at all. I just mention it in case someone is thinking of more than 4 people, it would get a little tight. The communication with the management company before we got there was great and we didn’t have any issues while there. We came in the shoulder season so not a lot of things to do here at this time, but we came to unwind anyway, so it worked for us. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

Lovely stay in McCall
They took great care of us ahead of arrival and even included a special way to acknowledge our babymoon. Great place to stay, close to downtown McCall and easy to find. More importantly, since it was November, I was pleased that it felt remote but also very safe to get to in the winter snow.

A Cabin with a View!
We spent two nights at the cabin with our three grandchildren and everyone really enjoyed the layout. The view of the river is amazing! We lacked for nothing! Toaster, Wine Opener, pots and pans! Everything was there! Even a box fan which came in handy in the loft master suite! Extra pillows! Everything was clean and the communication with the management company to check in and out was seamless. We would love to stay here again!

Privacy with a view
This is a very comfortable house with a view of the river but enough trees and vegetation that it felt private. Would love to come back in the spring to enjoy the deck. Really appreciated the double car garage which I've not enjoyed at other vacation rentals. The kitchen is SO well stocked, with even plastic dishes and service ware for the youngsters. The property management folks were exemplary.

Adorable cabin nestled in the tree
My husband and I stayed here for our 20th anniversary. We were greeted with a anniversary note and a gift bag of goodies. The cabin has stunning views of the river and trees. The deck had a fire pit, bbq and seating area. It is very cute inside, decorated in a rustic theme. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and anything you would need to make your meals. It is a short drive to the main stretch of town with lots of shops and restaurants. I recommend driving through the state park. We loved our stay here and can’t wait to come back with our kids. It has 2 bedrooms and a loft upstairs with a bathroom and shower. Highly recommend this property, you won’t regret it!

Beautiful Cabin on the River
We really enjoyed the cabin, the views and the amenities. Fabulous place to just relax and do nothing or come "home" to after a day hiking, sightseeing, shopping, etc.

Gorgeous cabin with terrible beds
The Carlson Cabin sits right on the Payette River. The "access" that is advertised isn't inaccurate per se as it is a steep descent to get riverside. But you can sit on the deck under the conifers and listen to the river all night! The beds in both the master and the loft are TERRIBLY uncomfortable. So much so that we chose to sleep in the small twin beds (which were oddly comfy) rather than get no rest. The place was spotless and the kitchen was one of the most well stocked we have every experienced in a VRBO. It is not fenced but is decently far from neighbors so the pup was ok. I'm not sure how 8 people would fit in the cabin but it was perfect for two and 4 would have worked well. Access to the garage (another rarity in most rentals) was a godsend (for the kayaks etc). There are 3 stairs to go up to access the rental so if anyone struggles with that, this isn't the place for them. Location was perfectly central while feeling way out of town. Overall, this place is awesome, but if you don't like REALLY hard mattresses, rethink it!

Great Location with an amazing view
This property and the property managers made for a great family vacation. The location and view were amazing, the property was clean and very well furnished with everything you'd need for a small family event. Great cabin right by the river
We had such a great time staying at the Carlson Cabin! The cabin was well equipped with all that you would need in the kitchen. The cabin was very clean. We loved having the river right outside our window and listening to it while sipping coffee on the deck. Would love to come back!
