"The pictures are not accurate. This motel is more run down than portrayed in the photos. The air conditioner made loud and I mean loud noises throughout my stay. We did not get a good nights sleep or rest. We checked in after midnight so I was tired and didn’t have it in me to go back to the front desk and ask for another room. Also when I asked the front desk if they had a bathroom I could use in the lobby they did but it was not in service.
I do not recommend this place and will not ever stay there again. "

"Very clean everywhere. Friendly check-in.
Very quiet as well for being so close to the interstate.
The only thing negative was that the faucet in the tube/shower was broken and we could not shower.
Staff was very friendly and very helpful when we left a bag behind. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Whitney. The place is absolutely adorable and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, including a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffee maker, which made our stay very comfortable. We especially appreciated the plenty of hooks available for hanging towels—such a small detail, but it made a big difference.
We did run into a minor issue during our stay, but the owner was very responsive and resolved it quickly, which we truly appreciated. The view is breathtaking, and the location is wonderfully secluded and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay here again!
