Kampsville McCully Heritage Project Hotels

"This hotel is under major renovation. Did not know that until we arrived. It was too late to find somewhere else when we got there. There was a $100 deposit, which I thought was pretty steep considering the condition of the place. The deposit was charged to our credit card and never refunded. Needless to say, we’ll never stay here again even if they ever get their renovations complete."

"The room was clean, quiet location, pet friendly, the staff were all very nice."

"This house was right across from a nice little park and 100 yards from the Mississippi river. We loved the location. It was walking distance to all the nice restaurants in town. We were satisfied with the everything in the house. There is even a little backyard with some deck furniture for relaxing outside. The was also a rollout bed in one of the closets that we ended up using."

"The property was well outfitted and was ready for our stay! We had a great relationship with our hosts and felt that they were sincerely interested in our time in the river house! A great experience!"

"The wall above the bed was torn up and had a lot of plaster falling off. A very large bug, looked to be a mud dauber, flew on me while on the bed. No refrigerator in the room. The carpeting was torn near the wall. There looked to be a gap in the brick wall near the window. Men were working on a new deck (2nd floor) with impact drill drivers before 7am. There was no staff, upon arrival our paperwork was sitting on the desk along with two others, not sealed with room number, name and code to get in the door. Breakfast was basically non existent. We will not stay there again!"

"We had a lovely time at this little cabin. It was perfect for our family of four, and would be a great little home base for exploring the Cuivre river. The hot tub was great, and the cabin design was really charming and unique. We will be back if we’re in the area again!"

"This is a gem. We needed a few days away from home and this was perfect. There are many things to do at the property for all ages, hiking, scavenger hunt, exploring the creek, a fire pit, many DVDS and books, a well stocked pond for fishing. The towns around have many things to do Also, we especially liked the tour of the lock and dam. We would give a ten if we could!"
