Once again, loved our stay here

Our second time at Gleanings Pond, and it was amazing once again. The property is absolutely beautiful, and the home is spacious and filled with all the amenities needed for a wonderful family retreat. The location is fantastic for both the lake and the mountain. Love it here!

Peaceful getaway in Deep Creek

This was a wonderful house and perfect for a long holiday weekend. Situated in a quiet and scenic development, the house was well appointed and equipped for our family. We were also so happy we could bring our dog, who also enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife. I definitely recommend this property and plan to rent it again myself!

Gleanings Pond, McHenry

We very much enjoyed our stay in the house at Gleanings Pond. We've stayed in the Gleanings neighborhood before, and it remains really nice and quiet. This house was well appointed and with some of the most comfortable furniture we've ever had in a rental house. The outside was pure pleasure, and the location was great for what we wanted to do.

Perfect Family Getaway

The views were magical and we had the best time. We took our daughter and her family and literally had the most relaxing vacation in a long time. It snowed, we sledded right on the property, we went on wintery-walks, played board games and watched football. Perfect.

A wonderful retreat for my family and furry girl

The house exceeded our expectations! We had a fantastic time enjoying the beautiful and peaceful landscape. The house was very clean and exactly like the pictures. We enjoyed visiting the Swallow Falls and Deep Creek lake. We were able to watch all the fireworks from the backyard while grilling and playing. Perfect for our dog to run and play safely. We had a fabulous time! Look forward to next year. Thank you for letting us stay at your home!

Serene amd peaceful!

This home was simply amazing. It is spacious while being homey, and offered our family all of the comforts we could ask for. It is a short driving distance to many activities, while still providing privacy and quiet. The dogs also had a great time! We will definately return in the future!

Great Reunion site

We had two families and we were able to have the kids relax and run around the property and enjoy our weekend. The property is laid out great that we had time together and still to be separated at night.

The house was really nice, very clean and had everything we needed. Played a lot of pool in a wonderful game room. Several porches with great views and a nice outdoor fire circle. We also had a nice lunch at the brewery up the street. A great time was had by all!

This property was nice however, a few things that I would suggest. I suggest that the day of arrival, someone needs to go and check the property. There were many dead bugs in the house. Also the house was very cold. I suggest that the heat or air be turned on the day travelers arrive.

Peaceful and homey

Absolutely loved our stay! House was big enough to fit everyone comfortably but still felt cozy. The views were nice and the privacy of not having neighbors right on top of you made for an extra quiet and relaxing weekend. The house is right down the road from the entrance to Wisp which was perfect for skiing. Downstairs game area provided plenty of entertainment for everyone between board games, pool, and darts. 100% renting here again next season.
