Great location and nice cottage

This property was perfect for a lakefront vacation! However, it is a dated - one couch has a spring sticking up, all of the mattresses are horrible, and there is only ONE window air conditioner that is in the front bedroom. Fortunately, it cooled off at night. There was a fan that could have been tragic. I was leaving for a run and heard an "off" noise. When I walked in the room, the fan was smoking and close to on fire. When I went to Railey to take them the fan, there didn't seem to be much concern. We just lived through a house fire in 2020 - needless to say, this was quite a scary moment for me! It would have been nice if the office was more concerned. We did have a great week at Deep Creek though!

We had a birthday weekend planned. This house was great for being right on the water. We had plenty of room and a great view.

We love Deep Creek. We go 3-4 times a year. This house’s location was nice but the house needs updated in most areas badly.
