「The Birdhouse is very charming, complete with a lovely fenced yard. This was important to us because we brought our dog and required a home that is pet-friendly. It is exactly as advertised and pictured on the website. The hosts were very helpful and super quick to respond to a minor TV question at the beginning. This was completely resolved and we had no other issues. The location is easily walkable to coffee, pizza, and a tap house! We enjoyed our three-week stay at The Birdhouse!」

「Property owner didn’t have prior rental person out of the property when it was time for us to check in! Had to book a different property extremely last minute, on the spot. Fortunately found another property to book at or it could have really left us in a lurch! Not happy and not impressed with property owners and rental process! Still waiting for reimbursement! 」

「Just loved our stay. The hosts made everything perfect for a birthday celebration, helped arrange a cake and balloons. The Model T tour was one of the best part of our weekend. Such nice people. Can’t wait to come again. 」

「Our family had a wonderful stay at the cottage! Very comfortable, bunk beds were a plus for the kids. So close to Silverwood, we could come back after a long stretch at the park to rest and then go back for more fun. It was great having our dog with us. Loved watching the dozen or so wild turkeys in the morning while drinking my coffee.」

「The property was perfect! Just what we needed for our vacation close to the main road but far enough away so it was quiet. Neighborhood felt safe and neighbors were nice too! 」

「Our stay at this beautiful little cottage set in an idyllic background complete with quiet mornings, fresh strawberries and visiting chipmunks was a much better alternative to staying in cramped hotel while my family was visiting Silverwood theme park. I give our stay full marks and my only suggestion would be to upgrade the mattresses on the beds. I would recommend this home to any families visiting the area.」

「Farm house was perfect for a relaxing, peaceful, fun family stay. Lovely, quiet setting. Close to lake, restaurants and everything we wanted to do in the Coeur d’Alene area. Plenty of space for a family. Clean & comfortable. Love the front porch with view of farms & horses. 」

「Was disappointed with the lake access that’s available. I felt advertisement was a little misleading . I emailed owner with questions a few days prior to arrival and never heard back. However overall the place was really nice . It was very clean and comfortable. Would stay again. 」

"As a continental breakfast, the variety was actually quite good. Unfortunately, the hotel really needs a better chef—the potatoes were mushy and burnt, sausages took 30 minutes to come out, the eggs were overcooked, and the toaster setting was too long, leaving the bread burnt. The room itself was decent, but check-in was a nightmare. We waited nearly an hour because of poor communication between the hotel and EXPEDIA. Even though we had already paid, the hotel almost charged us again. Too many issues overall. The only real highlight was the swimming pool, which our child absolutely loved"
