"This cottage was perfect for 6 adults to watch the total solar eclipse together! It has a big deck front & back and we enjoyed it immensely! Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Close to small town of Conneaut Lake and the lakefront ( although it has no view). Meadville is nearby too with groceries and a great meat market, Malady’s. We loved our stay and were so happy the clouds cleared and we saw the total solar eclipse!! 🌖"

"Here for an annual heavenly birthday celebration. Great accommodations, very well equipped kitchen and attention to detail around every corner. Although the weather was uncooperative and we were unable to enjoy the outdoors, the indoor offerings more than made up for it. No unexpected surprises, everything was as described. "This was our second stay at this lovely house on the river. We had 6 adults plus our dogs, so we were thrilled to find a place to accommodate such a large group. Enjoyed the front porch overlooking the river, which was big enough for all of us to use at once, and made use of the back patio with grill. Many charming antiques throughout the house and a beautiful (and large) hand made dining room table. We brought several kayaks and really enjoyed the river. Lisa was the best - very quick to reply...

"Cottage is good for Conneaut Lake. Pros: Nice open great-room with beautiful lake views. The lakeside patio is super. The two refrigerators are very convenient. The center island is awesome! The towels are very nice and plush. Cons: I had to go out and buy shower curtain liners for all three bathrooms. I really don't think they had been changed all summer. Ugh! There was pink mold around the drains in the bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom is a nice addition but the sink is so small it is almost...

"It was cold early April. At night around 29 degrees, but up to 65 in the sunny afternoon. We were two couples and a dad with an 11 year old, which was an awkward fit for the space. The 11 year old was very happy with the small porch room with the day bed. The 56 year old dad tolerated the small upstairs room that was the gateway to the huge attic bedroom, where I and my partner slept. You do have to trek though that room and down stairs a way to the bathroom. There isn't heating up there that we...
