Everything about this hotel was great, the ambiance, the room and staff were great. The restaurant is a must, the food was beyond great. Also this hotel has a GREAT location, definitely coming back.
Beautiful country hotel. Nicely renovated with spacious rooms and modern bathrooms. Amazing restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. We loved all the places to sit and chill with a glass of wine.
And let me tell you, for the quality and the quantity of the food you get at the restaurant the prices seem too low to be honest. (I’m grateful for what they are right now!)
The only little criticism that I can think of, is that my room didn’t have a kettle!
Everything else was just perfect.
And a special thank you to Sra. Teresa, for her presence and loving nature. Thank you.
Wonderful small hotel. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The property is an old farm house that the owners have converted into this lovely hotel . Easy access to the main roads for exploring the area.
Amazing views, beautiful location. Rooms were unique. Stunning dining area. Food excellent. Bit of a mix up with our room booking meaning we had to switch rooms halfway though our stay.
Pleasantly 'quirky' property. Good food, reasonably priced, in the restaurant. Great service.
Bed a little hard and cleaners used a fluid which left a strong 'clinical' smell which took a while to wear off.
Spent two lovely nights here and wished we’d stayed longer. Nachos was really helpful and informative - including booking a visit to a local vinery for us, which we would recommend. Food was great. Only thing I would fault was that there was no WiFi signal in our room.
We stayed at the San Amaro for 3 nights as part of a self drive tour and would gladly have stayed longer. Just outside Meano this place is set among a small hamlet which feels like stepping back into history. Fabulous buildings with great views.
Our welcome to the hotel could not have been better, the lovely Nacho made us feel at home and could not do enough to ensure our stay was a pleasant one.
All the rooms are individually decorated- ours was spacious with a small balcony, traditionally furnished, a little dark but pleasant enough.
The restaurant and lounge are lovely, rather French chic in feel, & the outside spaces are perfect for a pre dinner drink or lazing round the pool.
We ate here for all 3 nights and were not disappointed, really good food and a reasonably priced wine list.
This hotel/restaurant is a rather special place & one I hope we get to return to.
