「This was by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff were all helpful and so kind. The rooms and the hotel itself was very clean. We didnt have their breakfast but they do have it and they have a nice spacious eating area. Would definitely recommend staying there and would be happy to stay there again.」

Staffing appeared to be minimal, and staff members were not usually present at the front desk, although they could occasionally be found elsewhere in the building. The property does not have an elevator, so if you require assistance with luggage or have mobility concerns, I would recommend requesting a room on the ground floor. 「I was outside waiting for my fiance to get back and a lady approached a friend and looking for WiFi ..... she was pretending so she could try to spy on us for whatever reason. She actually worked there. They listen to everyone's conversations via camera.」

「Loved everything about this place! If you want to slow down and unwind it's the place for you. The owners are so accommodating and easy going. If you're in the area get off the beaten path and stay here. You won't be disappointed!」

「We had the handicap accessible room, but the commode was normal height, was hard for our disabled sister to get up from. We had to run to Walmart to get one of the commode risers. They had a tub with all the bars necessary and a bath chair. I just wish it had been a walk in shower. The room was large enough for a wheelchair and had handicap button to open the door with. Overall good stay!」

「Unfortunately there were ticks all over the campsite and trail. The cabin was very nice, but the ticks ruined the trip. I believe people should be warned about this because ticks are dangerous. The rocks in the campsite were hard on my dogs’ paws. I think adding finer gravel or mats would be helpful.」

「Property is very unique and historical. Staff very polite and knowledgeable of the area. Room was very clean but very outdated. Carpet and door need to be replaced. No coffee pot in room nor offered in the front office area. I will plan to stay here again if my travel plans bring me this way again.」
