"The Corn Store was just as the pictures showed. It’s a pretty Cottage in a peaceful location with many local amenities. We only had a few days but felt we had seen and done a lot. The cottage itself was very comfortable, the dining area sat five of us around the kitchen table and there were plenty of comfy chairs in the sitting area for after supper. "Really enjoyed our time at the Little Cow House. Starting with the very warm welcome from our lovely hosts and delicious welcoming homemade cake. The house is very nicely furnished, immaculately clean and very well equipped, and is warm and cosy; you can hear the river rushing in the valley below and the rooms have lovely views of trees and fields. Would like to come back and visit again in the summer to really make the mot of the great walks and sights in the area."

8/10 Good

"Lovely room with a very comfortable bed. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The room was in a great location in the town. Only downside was that there was no hot water in the shower, so we had to have cold showers. Fortunately the weather was hot, so a cold shower was not unbearable. But it was a bit of a shock to the system for me, being an old lady."

"Quite a change since the takeover; breakfast remains excellent, and the room I stayed in has had a big makeover. Everything was really good, except for the new Car Park payment which is a bit complicated, you really need to download the YourParkingSpace app to help. I had difficulty using the QA code on the reception desk. Seems to be free parking though if you book direct ??"
