By all measures, our stay exceeded expectations and we would have delighted in having a longer pause on our journey to the South of France」

「A wonderful building and room accessed by a stone spiral staircase. Ticked all the boxes for a fabulous overnight stop over. The owners were very attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was ideal before a days travelling and the homemade Jam was delicious.」

「 One of the declining number of traditional 3/4 star village/small town hotels that are being replaced by the bland massive chains The staff were brilliant, especially Head Waitor Luc who was charming, interesting and very helpful. The village with its castle is very run down with a large derelict hospital, numerous closed hotels and empty shops, but still worth a visit as a stop over.」

「Nous nous sommes arrêté à cet hôtel sur notre route pour avoir une étape. Très bien pour un court séjour. Attention il n'y avait pas de restaurant malgré ce qui est écrit, seulement du réchauffage de conserve. Heureusement nous avons pu trouver un restaurant qui livrait. L'hôtel est très calme et pratique avec un chien. 」

「Was so lucky to find this hidden gem! It was way too hot to walk around Vichy like we’d planned, so we got there a little early and were super happy our room was already ready. We spent the whole afternoon hanging out by the covered pool, which was perfect in the heat and we had it all to ourselves. The room was really spacious and thankfully had air conditioning 🙏. Also, the linen sheets were amazing, I was obsessed. For dinner, we had a charcuterie board that was so good and a generous...
