Each bedroom room is thoughtfully furnished with quality beds, fresh linen and a desk in case you need to work and a heater.

THINGS TO NOTE:
ACCESS: You have full access to the property. We are just a phone call or message away during your stay.

REMEMBER: Please note that access to the property is via a spiral staircase located within an outdoor restaurant seating area, which opens to the public at 5 PM. There is also an additional spiral staircase entrance available, separate from the restaurant area.

PARKING: There is no onsite parking. There is paid time limited parking across the road at the markets.

INCLUSIVE: As hosts, we welcome all visitors. Overseas guests, people with disabilities, families, and LGBTQI+ friendly.

NOISE: Please note that the property is not in a quiet location. However, there are no nearby neighbors, so you won’t need to worry about disturbing anyone.

EARLY CHECK-IN REQUESTS:
May be possible however we do recommend you to plan around a 3pm check-in. When your place is ready, we will let you know. If you require earlier access, consider booking the night before if available. If a guest is checking out on the day of your arrival, housekeeping needs time to prepare everything and we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS:
May be possible depending on bookings and housekeeping schedules. Please reach out the day before check out to see if this is possible.

STARTER SUPPLIES:
We provide you with complimentary essential starter supplies for your stay. This includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, and a few other items for your comfort. This is not intended to last for the duration of your booking but to avoid having to immediately head to the supermarket on arrival.

LINEN: We supply hotel quality linen and bath towels for your stay. BYO beach towels.

LONG STAYS:
All stays 14-28 nights must have a mid-stay cleaning service at an additional cost. This allows for our team to periodically clean, maintain, and inspect the property. This is non-negotiable.

CHECK OUT
We don`t want you to do a long list of chores before you check out. We just kindly ask that you put back furniture the way you found it (only if somethings been moved), stack the dishwasher and put the rubbish out. Our cleaners will do the rest.

AGE REQUIREMENT:
We do request that adult guests are over the age of 25 years of age. 18-24 years are welcome if staying with other adults over 25 years of age. Children are welcome.

MANAGEMENT FEE - this is our damage waiver to cover any accidental damages so you don`t have to worry - see house rules for the details.

PETS: No pets allowed on the property.

SECURITY CAMERA: Please be aware that there is a security camera inside the front door facing towards to the front door and out to the laneway.

It`s a food lover`s paradise, and you`ll be tempted to sample a variety of delicious treats as you explore.

Apart from the abundant food offerings, the Victoria Markets also boast a fantastic selection of specialty shops and boutiques. You can browse through unique clothing, jewellery, homeware, and souvenirs, all crafted with care and creativity. It`s the perfect place to find one-of-a-kind gifts for loved ones or a special memento of your time in Melbourne.

Beyond the stalls and shops, the market`s vibrant atmosphere is truly captivating. Talented street performers entertain visitors with music, dance, and other artistic displays, adding to the lively ambiance. The friendly locals and vendors are always happy to share their knowledge and stories, making the experience even more enjoyable.

In addition to the daytime market, the Victoria Markets also host seasonal night markets, providing an enchanting evening experience. As the sun sets, the market transforms into a magical wonderland, illuminated by twinkling lights and adorned with a festive spirit. Indulge in a diverse selection of international cuisines, shop for handcrafted goods, and enjoy live entertainment under the stars.

While the Victoria Markets are a major highlight of the area, there`s much more to explore in West Melbourne. The neighborhood offers a mix of historic charm and modern amenities. You can take leisurely walks through nearby parks, enjoy brunch at charming cafes, or sample cuisine from a variety of international restaurants.

NO PARTIES - Strictly no parties allowed. Infringement on this rule may result in eviction without refund. Any additional time for the housekeepers to attend or inspect the property outside of their usual cleaning will result in additional administrative fees.


PHOTO ID - We will ask for photo ID and a selfie of the person making the booking. For 3rd party bookings we will need the photo ID of the primary guest staying at the property.

DAMAGE WAIVER - (management fee). As part of your stay, a non-refundable damage waiver fee is included to cover accidental damage that may occur during your visit. This waiver protects you from being charged for minor, accidental incidents such as broken glassware, spills, or small damages to furniture, up to a coverage limit of $500. Please note, this waiver does not cover intentional damage, negligence, pet damage, or loss of personal items.
If an accident happens during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible so we can quickly plan for any necessary repairs or replacements to ensure the property is ready for the next guest. Rest easy - reporting accidental damage won’t affect your stay, thanks to our damage waiver coverage.
By booking with us, you agree to the terms of this damage waiver.


REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT - A refundable security deposit may be taken as an authorisation hold 2 days prior to check out and released no more than 7 days later. Some or all of the security deposit may be captured if there has been negligent behaviour or intentional damage to the property.


EMERGENCY CALL OUT COSTS - If the Fire and/or Emergency Services are called out due to a guest fault (including for false fire alarm call outs) the fee will be passed on to the guest to pay.


NO PETS - No pets allowed on the property. Additional charges may apply to those who ignore this rule.


LOST KEYS OR LOCKED OUT - In the event that keys are lost/ damaged/ locked inside the property any time during your stay or check-out, we may need to call a locksmith and additional expenses will be charged to your account.


CHECK OUT TIME IS 10am unless otherwise agreed. If the cleaner is not able to clean on time, a delayed entry fee may apply. If you require late check-out, please contact the host 72 hours before check-out and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.


LEFT BEHIND ITEMS - If you leave any items behind by accident, we are happy to post them back to you. However, we will need to compensate our housekeepers or managers for the postage fee and their time.


TOILETRIES - We provide toiletries to get you started. Feel free to visit the nearest grocery store should you wish to restock for yourself.


NO SMOKING - Smoking inside the property is strictly prohibited. Charges may apply for additional cleaning and deodorisation of the property.


EXCESSIVE USE - Excessive use of utilities such as water e,g leaving the water running all day, electricity, and WIFI may result in additional charges.


INTERNET - Please don’t disconnect the internet.
