Dark, Dirty, Dissatisfied
After the smooth check-in we noted that the apartment had been vacuumed and mopped but not cleaned otherwise. We noted the following at check-in:
- Dry urine stains on the toilet seat
- Toilet water dirty and toilet bowl stained
- Hair throughout the bathroom - in bath, around washing machine and toilet
- Bath with grime and dust
- Old soap in soap holder in bath
- Cutlery draws with rubbish
- Vegetable draw in fridge with food scapes
- Dishwasher filter dirty and interior dirty
- Dirty towel hung on bathroom door
- All draws and cupboard dirty and dusty
The apartment is on the lower ground level which meant the apartment was lacking natural light during the day. The small courtyard is sunken to the ground level so also a cold enclosed box (not to mention the smell of dog poo from the neighbours dog). The courtyard was also dirty and dusty meaning we did not use it during the entire 1 month stay.
Communication with MadeComfy can only be described as dismal. When trying to resolve issues surrounding the cleanliness of the apartment it took 2 weeks to get a response even though they advertise a 24/7 customer service.
The only positive is the neighborhoods and its surroundings otherwise I would advise against this apartment. I would also recommend kindly reevaluating any Stayz with management company MadeComfy.
