Creekside Cottage is the perfect escape for couples, families, friends, nature lovers, artists and those who want to leave the city behind. Set on 34 acres surrounded by native bush and farmland. This private rural retreat is perfectly positioned beside the gently flowing Mccrae creek with dappled sunlight and beautiful gum trees. Conveniently located within a 15 mins drive to cafes, restaurants, shops, walking tracks and the Lilydale to Warburton bicycle trail and Yarra Valley wineries.

The area
You are also centrally located to Healesville Sanctuary, Mount Dandenong and the world-renowned Yarra Valley wineries and Tarrawarra art gallery. The famous Puffing Billy can be boarded in close by Emerald or Gembrook or walk along the beautiful Yarra River in Warburton. The historic Kurth Kiln Regional Park and beautiful Shiprock falls are a 10 min scenic drive with beautiful nature walks.

This tranquil rural retreat is the ideal place to unwind, relax and reconnect with nature. Creekside Cottage has everything you need, including a fully functional kitchen and laundry, cosy lounge with a crackling woodfire, comfortable beds and plenty of space both indoors and out. Listen to the sound of the creek on the back deck, or take in the sounds of the abundant birdlife, toast marshmallows around the potbelly stove, go for a meander along the creek or say hello to our friendly goats!

Enter Rumbellara Farm, continue over the bridge, up the hill until you see the cottage on the right. This is all accessible with a two-wheel drive car any time of year. The cottage sits on an acre of creekfront gardens and bush for you to enjoy. Please keep out of fenced areas.

You will have the entire place to yourself. Our home is 500 m away and is not visible from the cottage. If you need to contact us, please give us a call. You will be able to let yourself in, we will leave instructions where to find the key.

Basic breakfast provided, such as cereal, bread, spreads, milk, tea and coffee etc.

Please do not enter any sheds or paddocks with animals, for your own safety.
