About this space
Mitford, a unique, four bedroom Art Deco home. It’s big, comfortable and well appointed ! Sleeps up to ten. Two king, a queen and a twin king single bedrooms plus a fold out queen couch bed. Master bedroom with BIR and ensuite. 2nd Bathroom. Two living areas with TV + streaming. Study. Gym equipment. Deck with table setting and BBQ. Superb, large garden. Collected art and furniture. Laundry. Hydronic heating. Aircon. Wifi. 8 car carport. Shops, cafes, park and transport nearby. Truly 1st Class.
The space
This classic Elwood home is truly an Art Deco gem with an emphasis on art with its outstanding collection of artworks and classic designer furniture.
Located on quiet, tree lined street, with a park directly over the road. Only a short walk to the popular Ormond Road village with its interesting shops, cafes and restaurants. This handy shopping strip has everything you may need during your stay. If not across the road, almost next door, there is a fortnightly Farmers Market at the Elwood Primary School held on Saturdays during the school year.
Enter the Art Deco foyer and be enticed to explore the spacious home. On the ground floor, there's a study and office with designer desk and chair, complete with WiFi and printing facilities. The master bedroom has an en suite and a second ground floor bedroom has built-in wardrobe.
The office leads to an equipped gym space and another convenient work desk. The comfortable living room features a TV, two sofas (one is a queen sofa bed), and enchanting private garden outlook.
Upstairs, there's a third king bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and fourth bedroom with two single beds, built-in wardrobe, and garden outlook. The living room on the upper floor has a smart TV and sound bar, modern furnishings, antique table, and contemporary art works.
The kitchen features European appliances, large fridge, dishwasher, ample bench space, and a well-equipped pantry. The kitchen-dining area has a table for 8-10 guests and opens to a spacious deck with outdoor table for 12 and BBQ, overlooking the garden.
