「A very disappointed experience! I booked this resort on Hotels.com, which clearly mentioned the room was equipped with private onsen. However, when we arrived the staff told us that there was a failure on the water pump and they couldnt provide onsen water! The only solution they had offered was some PUBLIC onsen entries on its surrounding area…. This is totally unacceptable and disappointed that we drove so far to here and they couldnt provide this particular service, with no compensation and...

"Booked a twin room with sofa bed for a young family of four. Both beds are double beds that could easily fit our family if the beds were pushed together. Mattress was comfy but the pillows were slightly on the softer side (great for the kids though). The room itself was cosy but the bathroom was slightly small (also the slant off the bathroom flooring may give some people an unbalanced feeling). Bathroom was slightly dirty (according to my wife's standards) but after a good scrubbing perfectly usable. Check-in was seamless and fast. The staff communicated effectively in English and gave suggestions of nearby sights and attractions (with accompanying map). After checking-in, there is a table nearby with many amenities (combs, shaving kit, green tea bags, etc.) so feel free to take as needed. Water is also complementary so just ask the front desk for more if the ones in the room aren't enough. I chose the no breakfast option so I cannot comment. Highlight of the stay is definitely the Sky Spa. Located on the top floor, this provides an onsen-like experience overlooking much of the city. Changing rooms are sufficient with lockers, sinks for shaving/cleaning, and hairdryers. There is a hot indoor pool, a hot outdoor pool, a cold outdoor pool and a steam room. The spa runs through the night until 11am so it is great after an entire day of sightseeing. All bath amenities are provided including face wash so there is no incentive to shower in the room. Overall, we had a great time"
