The room was clean as well as cheerful. But it was the beds that sold us! Soooo comfortable and cozy doonas as well as great pillows. From the outside it isn't much to look at, but the room was quite sweet inside.

Nice and safe security, although the gate was left open one evening. Great location and the adjacent hotel was excellent for food on both evenings. Highly recommend and if all NightCaps are premises like this and the Wollongong one, I know where will stay when next in Australia!

Got there and had to change the booking on the spot.

Everything and everyone very pleasant, totally suited our purpose for visiting Melbourne. Restaurant is excellent, the Ferny Creek Trail a surprise bonus. Found out a nephew from USA stayed there recently and also liked it very much. Hope to return.
