Family of 4 ( 2 children under 4 ) - 5 nights stay

Communication with the property manager was good prior our stay and arrival. The apartment was basic, but suitable for a week stay. However, we do not recommend this apartment when going on a holiday with children. There is no high chair. Playing with a ball or any swim related toys is not allowed in the swimming pool, and we had trouble with the troller. The apartment could only be reached with stairs, which made it very challenging and uncomfortable. Please be mindful that caps need to be worn in the pool. The kitchen was well equipped. The only thing missing was kitchen towels. Which isn’t very convenient when doing the dishes. The appartement does come with some board games, tennis equipment, and towels.

Dejligt område men ældre bolig

Skønt område med stor pool og fantastisk udsigt fra poolområdet. Boligen lå lidt afsides og derved hvor der var ro, men ikke en udsigt over søen men i stedet i et par store træer. Dejlig terrasse. Fin gangsti ned til byen, men det tager en del længere tid at gå derned end angivet. Det tog 35-40 min at gå ned og ad meget stejl vej men meget hyggeligt. Vi lod bilen stå hele ferien da det er meget svært at få parkeringsplads i byerne rundt søen. Boligen fremstår gammeldags med ældre badeværelse og slidt køkkenområde, nusset service og gammelt mindre køleskab. Startede med at støvsuge en masse edderkopper ned fra loftet og lufte ud, da der lugtede meget indelukket. Byen er meget hyggelig og smuk. Vi tog færgen rundt til nogle af de andre smukke byer på den anden side af søen.

Sehr schönes Apartment auf schöner Anlage

Wir waren da für vier Nächte. Alles sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Leider war der Pool Anfang Oktober trotz 26 Grad Celsius nicht mehr benutzbar. Wurde aber vorher kommuniziert. Der Tennisplatz mit dem Ausblick war super.

Rustig appartement in prachtig privé domein

Dit mooie appartement ligt in een prachtig privé domein dat goed onderhouden is. Het zicht aan het zwembad is indrukwekkend! De advertentie is correct. Het contact met de eigenaar verliep steeds vlot! De locatie is hoger gelegen dan het centrum van Menaggio. Dat zorgt voor een prachtig zicht en voor een wandeling! Wij deden de tocht naar Menaggio steeds te voet. Kleine wandelpaadjes zorgen voor een goede verbinding. De weg terug naar boven is wel steeds een uitdaging!! De andere steden rond het Comomeer zijn makkelijk te bezoeken met de boot, die vertrekt in de haven van Menaggio. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf en zouden er met plezier nog eens teruggaan!

Très belle location

L'appartement est très bien situé au calme,dans une grande propriété verdoyante et sécurisée. La piscine superbe avec une vue splendide sur le lac de Côme. L'appartement est très bien équipé en materiel de cuisine, il y a ce qu'il faut pour jouer au tennis et au ping-pong il y a des guides avec plein d'informations. Il manquait juste la wifi et la climatisation, nous avons très chaud la nuit même avec les ventilateurs .

Sehr schöne Anlage, Pool & Tennisplatz, angenehme Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist angenehm groß mit 2 Schlafzimmern, Bad Küchenzeile, Esstisch, Sofaecke & Terasse. Wenn die Läden zu sind, bleibt es schön kühl, nur etwas aufwendig sie auf und zu zu machen. Sehr schöne Aussicht, sehr kurzer Weg zum Pool & Tennisplatz (sehr gut gepflegt.) Tennisplatz muss man am Wochenende (und evtl. in den Ferien?) beim Poolwart buchen, im Pool muss man eine Bademütze anziehen aber man gewöhnt sich daran! Man kann in ca. 30 Minuten über einen schönen, sehr steilen Weg nach Menaggio laufen, zurück ist natürlich anstrengend! Für's Einkaufen, Bäcker, Supermarkt etc. muss man also entweder mit dem Auto fahren oder den steilen Weg im Kauf nehmen! Das einizge, was an der Wohnung wirklich fehlt ist WLAN - es gibt auch kaum Handy-Empfang! Es gibt auch keinen Backofen aber das hat uns nicht gestört.

Schöne Anlage

Tolle Anlage mit schönem Pool und Tennisplatz. Sehr schöner Ort in ca. 15 Min über etwas steilen Fußweg erreichbar. Zwei gute Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wohnung zweckmäßig ausgestattet, aber Sauberkeit und Pflege könnten besser sein. Kommunikation mit Vermieter sehr gut.

Great place to stay!!

The apartment is simple but really nice and you have all you need. But no Wi-Fi and the network is weak, which can be a challenge with teenagers😉 The compound is really nice with a great pool area, tennis court etc. and the staff is really friendly. Although quit annoying to be forced to use a bathing cap while in the pool. The view from the pool area is fantastic over the lake. It’s deers outside the apartment which is a great entertainment to watch. Great and very helpful host. Can definitely be recommended!!

The apartment did not live up to our expectations

The area, pool and tennis court is amazing but the apartment we meet did not live up to our expectations. The apartment really lacks a loving hand and especially the kitchen is very worn and lacks equipment.

Appartement très agréable et bien situé

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances à Menaggio. L'appartement est bien agencé, propre, fonctionnel, dans une propriété close avec de magnifiques jardins et une très belle piscine. Vue sur le lac de Côme et Bellagio depuis la piscine : magnifique !

Die ganze Anlage liegt sehr schön mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht auf den See- alles ist sehr gepflegt und ruhig- die Ferienwohnung ist geräumig mit einer schönen Terrasse- Kleinigkeiten in der Küche könnten evtl. mal ausgetauscht werden- z.B. der Toaster, und Espressotassen fehlten - aber sonst alles super und sehr entspannte und erholsame Ferien!

This was our 9th annual stay at Le Terraze. We are currently planning our 10th stay in the summer of 2015. Why do we keep coming back? -fantastic appartment, clean and well-furninished -beautiful peaceful loaction -never any problems of noisy neighbours, which can happen in such residences -rather that the neighbours are lovely and friendly! -perfect swimming pool and tennis court -best views in the world (not exaggerating) -a car is very useful, but there is a good bus service into town, and the alternative of a wonderful walk
