My wife and I love Park James. Whenever we stay in the Bay Area, we stay at Park James. Conveniently located in the middle of the peninsula so you can drive anywhere. The rooms are really nice and they are clean. The bed is really comfortable (I'm really picky). The bar is awesome. Haven't eaten dinner at the restaurant yet but numerous people we know rave about it. Stanford shopping mall is right down the street. The staff is always friendly and helpful every time we stay there. Would highly recommend stay there.

The hotel had a front desk person in the early hours that had very poor customer service skills and lacking of interpersonal grace. It pretty much ruined the vibe of my trip and those of my friends. Only takes one event. And more often than not, it defines the outlook of the hotel itself.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was really nice. The bar and restaurant were perfect. Our room was very clean and nice. Really liked the decor and vibe and the bed was really comfortable. I'm a huge hotel mattress person and I was very pleased. Slept like a baby. Will be making this our go to place when we come visit family from now on.

Came on Sunday evening and restaurant and bar where closed - not open on Sundays - make this more clear on the web site. As nice as shower was, you need to have grab bars in the shower……we are elderly and not quite as agile as we were in our 30’s and 40’s.

Nice but no Night Life after Nine!
Hotel was fine. Could use a little bit of maintenance. Coffee was the best part of our stay. It’s a shame that the bar closes at 9pm on a Friday night. Seems like most of Menlo closes at 9:00pm which is disappointing seeing as there are so many young adults coming now for music, good food, and cultural events.
