Stephanie was so wonderful and patient and knowledgeable! The property is absolutely gorgeous and exceeded my expectations. I’m so thankful places like this exist and are being preserved and cared for by people who are passionate about history and story telling. Stephanie also prepared the most delicious breakfast for us despite my gluten sensitivity. I was so appreciative! I can’t wait to stay again (and hope to arrive earlier this time ;) ).

The home was very clean. The outside property could use some care. The room was immaculate, but the bed was too firm for me. Although, we were told the house was totally booked, there was only 3 pieces of homade bread, small slices and only 2 packs of Swiss Miss. That doesn't accommodate a booked house.

Stephanie is absolutely delightful! Wonderful knowledge of the community and the history of Oaklawn Inn and Menominee in general. This is a charming and thoughtful bed-and-breakfast. Speaking of breakfast… it was great! A special bonus is the large wraparound screen porch with lots of comfortable seating. We will be back in September and we’re going to book now.

Stephanie’s home was spectacular!I recommend getting there within the check in time because her historical tour & info is phenomenal! We unfortunately were late and she still accommodated & treated us so well. The rooms are amazing. Her cooking breakfast was so yummy! Penny the scruffy little dog is so cute. I wish we had more time but we’re on a mission to get to Crosby, MN for mtb. It would be nice to enjoy the screen porch in the evening. We hope to visit & stay again soon. Thank you so much, Stephanie. ~jackie & jon
