Family reunion

It was a beautiful house, but not handicapped friendly. Would not have even thought about that normally but broke my femur 2 months ago and stairs are not my friend! other than that everything was fine.

This property is absolutely stunning!!! It made us want to look at other places for sale there. Which we did. The neighborhood is very community oriented which is a nice change of pace. And views were breath taking.

Escape from the Heat

We had a wonderful stay at RiverRun. The space was perfect for our family. Well stocked and very comfortable. Close to state parks and waterfalls and about 50 minutes to Chattanooga. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and outdoor adventure. We would definitely come back again.

Wonderful

The property was just as advertised, clean, peaceful and relaxing. We truly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to plan another trip. That said, a few more lights on the stairs heading down from the top deck would be nice.

Relaxtion in Mentone

This property was conveniently located to Mentone Market and Desoto Park. We enjoyed the large family room with plenty of seating for our family of 7. One day we decided to stay at the property to enjoy the canoe, kayak, trails to the nearby dam, hot tub, and the beautiful scenery this property has to offer. Everything was comfortable and worked properly. Our family will be coming back during the warmer months to enjoy the water holes!

Cool getaway

We enjoyed staying at River Run We are not fans of carpet on floors b/c some of us have allergies but it seemed clean and no one had problems The cool weather, river n so many outdoor places to enjoy the birds, geese n deer were a big plus. Great week!

Amazing

Such a serene, lovely lodge. Easy walk to the dam and waterfall. Spent some time kayaking the lake, which is so peaceful. Relaxing evenings in the hot tub. Recommend wholeheartedly!

Nice stay

Cabin was great. My grandson did a little fishing from the dock. Pictures on the listing shows 2 different kitchen areas so was a little misleading. Be careful following your GPS or you will bypass the driveway, especially if you arrive after dark.

Memories nest.

We really enjoyed the stay. First floor is the best second floor is next but overall the water really looks good. Didn’t have any luck on catch no fish lol. The stairs are so nice if you like walking. Plenty of room for a family. The place was really clean and neat. If you don’t want to drive I suggest you take food with you.

Great view

Nice property, but not kid friendly for toddlers. Too many steps outside to get to ground level and dock. No powder room on main level for others not using master bath. Only bathtub is in master bath. Great for adults and great location for parks and hiking.

We stayed at this property in August 2023 and absolutely loved it. Beautiful property with beautiful views. We have stayed in mountain towns before so we know it is a little bit of a drive to more commodities, and that is what we love! Being secluded but a little drive away you can get to things you want to see and do (just remember to Google map things ahead of time and Factor in central versus Eastern time zones). Property manager has been extremely transparent and was very responsive to all communication - which is very helpful. Overall we would highly recommend this home to others. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful home

This property is stunning. House was immaculate. The views, out of this world. Communication with property owner was wonderful. We had an issue with extreme over chlorination in the hot tub and we messaged the owner, they sent someone out first thing in the morning to drain and refill the hot tub. He also refunded one night stay which was very kind. Only negative is the lack of outdoor furniture. There is 3 levels of decks and a dock and one table with 4 chairs on lower level. This house was rented for the view. There was no where to sit on upper level or bottom. And owner did not want furniture moved.

Perfect Getaway

I recently stayed at this cozy mountain cabin, & overall, it was a wonderful experience with just a couple of notable downsides. The cabin is perfectly situated in a serene & picturesque location, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains & beautiful lake. It’s the kind of place that truly lets you escape from the hustle & bustle of daily life.The amenities were as described & functional. The layout of the cabin was thoughtfully designed, making it both comfortable & practical for a weekend getaway.However, there were a couple of issues that impacted the experience. Both of the doors to the main deck kept getting stuck, which was quite frustrating. Additionally, the cleanliness of the cabin left something to be desired. While it wasn’t uninhabitable, it was clear that the space hadn’t had a thorough deep clean in a while. The bathtub had pink mold accumulating around the base of the tiles, the window ledges were littered with dead bugs, & there were water bottles & candy wrappers left on the upstairs floors from a previous guest. The appliances were also overdue for a proper cleaning, & the back patio had several lightbulbs that needed replacement.With a little maintenance to fix the sticking deck door & some extra attention to cleaning, this cabin would be absolutely perfect. As it stands, I’d rate it 4 stars & would still recommend it, especially for those seeking peace & quiet in a beautiful setting.
