“Restroom need to be maintained better ! But overall the place was nice and cozy, I was on a solo trip and I felt very safe and comfortable here, front seat staff was very nice and helpful, they repaired my toilet in no time”

“Frenchmen is close to many eating and music venues. Staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We certainly enjoyed our time there. When staying here one should be aware that the building was built in 1860 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. A flight of stairs took us to our room 211. Inside the unit was two story with bathroom on the entry level and a queen bed on a loft reached with 17 stairs. Not handy for a 3 am trip to the toilet. I am 74 years old and get……

“There’s six big cats the stay outside the door and more my biggest concern was that we or scared off cats and the staff said they really live there and they won’t bother us I hate cats”

“Never saw the pool, the bathroom was so small you could bearly open the door. The bathtub needed to be recaulked. Had mold around the tub. The rooms were very old and looked different than the pictures online. The bar wasn’t open when we needed a drink before 3pm. Just wasn’t impressed at all for the price.”

“The haunted hotel was great its walking distance to everything. The lore behind the place is fascinating and we had some paranormal but the ghost seem friendly. The staff are super friendly makes thst worth the stay just on that alone.”

“Great location. Safe. Comfortable bed. Spacious room. AC worked well. Check in is a bit awkward as the hotel is not manned. A fridge and microwave would not be out of the realm of reason for a hotel at this price point. Lovely courtyard. Overall a nice place to stay. I will stay again.”

“Very clean accomodations. The friendly, courteous staff was kind enough to store our baggage after our early arrival and saw us off at 4:30 am when we departed for the airport to catch our early morning flight. Great location -- one block from Bourbon Street and two blocks from French Market and St. Louis Cathedral. Wonderful coffee shop located across the street. Air conditioning was very welcoming after full days of sightseeing. Highly recommend!”

“The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.”
